What does it taste like, is it spicy?

Not spicy. Taste like a high quality white rice.

Do this rice expires ?

Yes, But it has a very good shelf life. My recent purchase of the Vee Tee Jasmine is good until dec. 2018. Our grown kids w/ family like the firmer basmati. Us old folks--my husband and I like the fluffier softer jasmine. I have been cooking rice for over 50 years. This is a keeper. This is NOT like the old instant stuff. It's real like the 30 min. stove chore.

Do I need to keep it in the Refrigerator (not opened yet)

No need to Refrigerate if unopened. I keep on the shelf for months. Great rice.
