Knitter's Pride Row Counter Ring-Size 10: 19.8mm Diameter, Black

It was a plus that this Row Counter Ring is made of stainless steel - I am allergic to nickel in particular and won't buy something that is "mystery metal." Based on other reviews, my right thumb is a good place for this so I bought a size 10. It does well on my right thumb as the knuckle is larger - it's too large for my left thumb. It's easy to see. I do take it off to turn the number and some might find that annoying. The right, single digit (for me) side moves easily. The left side is a bit harder to turn but, so far, I haven't needed to use those numbers. When using straight needles, the ring makes a little extra room on the needle that would usually hold the counter. This will be useful for items knit in the round where there is no place for a counter but counting is a must. I highly recommend this for knitters.

Trust the good reviews, this thing IS really cool. I’m an advanced beginner knitter and I can never keep track of my rows. I bought the size 10 and it fits perfectly over my left thumb and makes counting rows of breeze. I bought the black one with the white numbers as opposed to the rainbow one., The white numbers are easy to read. It turns easily (you just apply slight pressure inward as the instructions explain). I love a product that does one thing really well. This is just that.

I wear this on my non-dominant thumb and it feels great. It stays in place between changing the numbers and doesn’t feel uncomfortable. I used to write down the numbers and check them off. It’s so nice to just use this little gadget.

Using a row counter has always been a little annoying to me. I'd drop them and I hated having to pick it up to click it and to see what row I'm on. This ring is the perfect solution. It fits comfortably on my thumb and it's so easy to just turn the number to get to the next row. The sections kind of lock together, so there's no worries about the numbers turning by them selves, yet they are not hard to turn. They stay right in place and the row you are on is marked by two lines on either side of the ring so you know exactly where you are. It's so nice to just glance at my thumb to see what row I'm on instead of picking up a counter. I'm so glad I bought this. It's really made a difference.

Product is wonderful when it stays together. This is 5 rings over another smaller ring. It has a tendency for the interior ring to slip off, thereby allowing all other rings to fall off the primary ring. When that happens, it loses the count of rows. It may just be a defective ring, since I have a different colored ring of the same style that works wonderfully and has not come apart yet. But the quality of this one is quite disappointing.

I'm a new knitter, and every time I stopped my work, I'd forget what row I was on. Sometimes I even forgot while I was working. No more of that. This ring is the absolute bomb! It's truly the best accessory I've purchased, and now I don't knit anything unless I'm wearing it. The only way they could make this better is if they did it in silver and gold, so it looked prettier. But I'm not complaining. Highly and urgently recommended!

A great knitting tool, as I wear it most of the time , I wish I could have a silver smith make me one as a jewelry piece..

Works just as expected

I don't know how I ever followed crochet patterns without a row counter, it makes it so easy. This ring is comfortable to wear and the numbers stay firmly in place until you want them to move. I wouldn't change anything about this row counter, it's perfect!

I am pleased with the quality of this product. It's a stainless steel row counter, and while I've only used it for a month or so, it feels like it's built to last. I'm happy with it.

I got a size 10 to fit on my thumb. I can hold my work while using the counter. The numbers lock in nicely. By far the best counter I have ever used and worth every penny!

Loved this counter I have had them all but this one was by far the best. I had it for jist over a year and I noticed it started to slip. The next day it fell apart on my hand. It can not be put back together again. Trust me we tried. For the price this item should have lasted much longer. Won't be replacing it.
