desertcart.com : Wrist Blaster - Forearm, Hand and Wrist Exerciser (3 Inches, Shorty Sphere) : Sports & Outdoors Review: EXCELLENT CLASSIC WRIST ROLLER WITH A TWIST - This is a classic wooden wrist roller with an innovative twist. The spheres added are the twist. These alternative grips make this already stylish wrist roller modern. The wrist roller has been around for ages and is an effective hand, wrist, and forearm developer. This product is made of quality wood and has an excellent feel to it. You can Go to Core Protigy for a video of the product, and to see their lineup of other quality products. I would highly recommend this wrist roller to any one. It came with some interesting water weights which gives it a stylish setup if Yoga is your exercise, however, you can still use the cord itself with its carabiner, or a loading pin or other mechanism to hang weight plates from it as well if you are stronger. This wrist roller can also be used at the end of workouts when your grip is already fried from doing such exercises as heavy deadlifts, or shoulder shrugs which are very grip intensive. A wrist roller can also be used to get a mild pump on off days just to get some active rest benefits and encourage a quicker recovery period in your hands, wrists, and forearms. Speaking of pump, not everyone has the good genetics of naturally developing big forearms from just gripping exercises, this wrist roller will "pump" your forearms good which contributes to developing that desireable Popeye look everyone wants to have. I think you get the picture of the benefits of having a good wrist roller around. Here is a innovative classic wooden wrist roller you can't go wrong with. This is a really cool wrist roller. I also recently also purchased Core Protigy's wrist roller with a 2.5 cylinder which is located in place of the balls/spheres. It too is awesome and I would recommend both. Review: Does, indeed, blast one’s wrists (and forearms). - This review is about the short Wrist Blaster with the two large balls/knobs on either end and no extended axle. It’s a great product. Seems very sturdy. At 6’3” with arms navel height there was more than enough of the durable rope to reach the ground with several wraps still around the center of the spindle. The rope that is secured to the device is already tied in place (one end to the Wrist Blaster and the other to a simple caribiner-style clip. Using the device is like holding on to two large doorknobs and twisting. You have to keep both hands firmly on the device when using any kind of resistance or it will slip out of your hands. The result is that you’re rotating one end against your palm, then the other. I provided a great forearm workout as I did sets of twisting away (heavier weight), then sets of twisting towards myself (lighter weight). My forearms were bulging in all of the spots that are usually flat after a workout of wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, and pinch-gripped bumper plate farmer’s walks. It hurts to type this review. The water weights that come with it are unnecessary and I’ll be throwing mine out, but I feel that the purchase was well worth the money.

Popeye forearms!
This bad boy will give you a wicked pump. I love the multiple grips you can use. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the 550 cord that is used kinda sucks due to the fact it rolls up at multiple locations which makes the load great on one arm over the other. I’m modifying mine to use a strap instead of the cord which should balance the load and make the exercise smoother. I will post pictures after the modification are done. Other than that this thing is very well built.

Solid Build & High Quality
Love the product, what this has over other competitors is the dual size grip which allows you to activate different muscles and different parts of muscles. Product is strong and sturdy and I actually like that it’s made out of Ash as it can easily be used without gloves and don’t worry it doesn’t give you splinters. No complaints about the product whatsoever – a tad pricier than other kinds of equipment made for the same purpose but the quality of those always seemed to be lacking and offered only one circumference whereas this seems extremely well made and durable enough to last for years to come – Frankly there is nothing I would change with this item – Five Stars!

Great wrist exercise product
I purchased this because my left wrist was starting to bother me while playing golf. I am a 54 year old scratch golfer so my left wrist has seen a fair amount of abuse (I have hit a lot of range balls over the years). The product is perfect. I use it with a 2.5 lb metal weight and do a lot of reps. It has improved my flexibility significantly and the wrist pain, which I suspect is the beginnings of arthritis, is much better. The wood is oak, so it has some texture. The finish is adequate. I am a woodworker and looked into building this myself. I could not find the large diameter dowel in a small enough quantity to make it at a less expensive price. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.

musician, rock climber- excellent forearm therapy
I'm a rockclimber and musician, 40 years+ doing both. This leads to elbow/forearm problems... the Wrist Blaster Shorty is a REALLY good tool to help with hand, wrist, forearm and elbow issues. Have been using for about a week with relatively light weights, up to 8-10 pounds. So far, five minute sessions are more than enough to loosen things and work on strength. Core PRODIGY is an excellent vendor; there was a shipping mistake in first order and they rectified it immediately. Five stars for the product and five stars for the vendor. THANK YOU!!!

2 different grips. A nice rope so that you can attach any weight to it (instead of the ones that come with a pin and only work on plates). And finally, 2 water weights which actually can give you a solid workout, with a nice solid wooden finish. I've used a bunch of forearm rollers over the years and this is definitely the best one, strongly recommend.

I bought this product to improve my forearm strength and was amazed at how well it works! The wood is of good quality. I recommend these products.

Works ok but way to expensive for what you get.

Helps me get stronger wrists and forearms. Great exercise for tendonitis when paired with proper stretching.
