I ordered this carburetor to replace a nonadjustable carburetor on my snow blower's Tecumseh engine. The carburetor leaked like a sieve. I removed the carburetor bowl and discovered the circumference of the gasket was too large and the bowl wouldn't seal to the body of the carburetor. I returned this product to Amazon for a full refund and ordered a replacement. It also leaked around the bowl so I took it to a local small-engine repair shop and they suggested I adjust the float. I did that but the carburetor still leaked so I returned the second carburetor. I then called the reseller (The ROPS Shop) and ordered a 3rd carburetor. I couldn't install that carburetor because there were no threads in the holes for the screws for the mounting bracket that holds the snow shroud. The manufacturer of these carburetors has a serious quality control problem with this carburetor. Interestingly I installed a similar carburetor from this manufacturer on a smaller Tecumseh engine last winter and it worked perfectly. But based on my recent experiences I would not buy any carburetors from this manufacturer. Amazon and The ROPS Shop refunded my money for these lemons but I wasted a lot of time installing, removing and reinstalling these carburetors. I'm ordering a genuine Tecumseh carburetor from Amazon and hoping it won't leak--it's much more expensive than The ROPS Shop carbs but I'm tired of wasting time with this knock off brand.Update December 6, 2019: I ordered and installed a genuine Tecumseh carburetor and it worked perfectly. There were no leaks and the engine runs smoothly. I'm very pleased. It's worth the extra cost to get the real McCoy.
