Surrounds
I bought these to round out the 5.1 stereo system I've been assembling. All the speakers I used are JBL's, and I think the quality for the price is outstanding. These are no exception, and hold up the back end of the system just fine. The frequency is probably what you'd expect from a small bookshelf speaker, i.e., not great in the bass rage, but they work great with the overall presentation.

These are surround speakers
I use these for the rear channels for a 5.1 system. I did not expect them to have the presence as my old L100's and they don't. They are fine for less pronounced surround channels.

Beech Speakers Very Good Looking With A Fine Sound
They give a nice all around spectrum of sound and decent bass so that I could use them for front speakers. This is given that I have KEF 2005 speaker set and 250w sub. That being said I decided to use them as front speakers and with the sub turned off, sometimes, I would forget that I was only listening to the JBL bass...ok, this ony during sound passages that have heavy bass...but I stand on my original implication that these little speakers produce decent bass. That being said a true audiophile will never accepet these as front speakers. I think these are great looking speakers in the beechwood and I recommend them as a good value.

First Rate RC JBLs.
I agree with the prior review of these JBL E10s, however I'd go to the E20s for a small room main stereo set--better bass worth the slight price increase. Bought for rear channel (RC) use, I find the E10s quite "airy", with what seems like a better high frequency response than the main E30s I just bought from A'.com (see my 5 Star review), giving extremely open and detailed "surround" RC performance.NOTE: The specs listed on A'.com for the E10s state "Bi-wireable: Yes" BUT...unless JBL has just changed the terminals to do this that's wrong--mine have just a single terminal set, and DON'T BOTHER with the pricey speaker mounts offered as accessories (unless you plan ceiling installs) as they come with two "slide down" screw slots attached to the back for wall installation.Surfing for the BEST PRICE, I bought mine refurbished from [...] for a LOW $53.00 bid plus $18.00 S+H directly from JBL and you may find the E30s/E20s from JBL as refurbs there as well.As RC speakers--ESPECIALLY at the price I got them--I recommend them highly, well deserving the 5 Star rating given!

Great surround Sound speakers!
I got these to replace my DUAL speakers i got off of ebay for 1 cent plus 39.99 shipping LOL. Those speakers were not even worth one cent. After 3 weeks they sound like and pretty much always sounded bad. So i went shopping for new speakers since i already got a JBL Center, Left and right channel and LOVE them Brand name wasn't hard to figure out. But i couldn't decide to get the E20's or E10's, after much debate i got the E10's. GREAT surround sound! Love these things loud enough to hear them without putting your ear directly up to speakers (Last one i did) and they sound great for Music and games.. I would highley suggest these speakers to anyone, JBL always has great quality speakers!

Fabulous Bookshelf Speakers from JBL
I purchased these speakers from Amazon thinking hmm...buying speakers online without even hearing them first. Needless to say, I was more than pleased. Replacing my now retired Polk Audio front channels, these JBL E10's did just what I needed--to provide good quality sound with enough bass to balance the other speakers. Also in my setup is a pair of Bose 210's as the rears which work amazingly good, and a Polk Audio center channel. Others have complained that the high upper range in these speakers is not that great, but if you adjust the treble settings on your receiver along with the bass ones, you can really get it just right for any type of music. Fabulous speakers, even better price! Would definentaly reccomend and even purchase another set for the formal livingroom!
