Do these stay on the windows in AZ hot weather (over 100 degrees)?
will it stick well to tinted widows?
Should these be bent when open? 2 corners stick out 6" from the window when I press in the middle: is it defective or is there a trick to get flat?
Can I use these on my room window in my house? I don't care if it looks ugly, &will it ruin the window?

Perfect in every way
I bought these to try to keep the vehicle as cool as possible for a traveling cat. Yes, we have AC but on a 7 hr trip with summer sun coming in the window on a hot day… These are really helpful. They make a significant difference in the temp for the person (and cat) sitting on the sunny side AND, unexpected bonus, they are SO easy to put on the window, move around, peel off – I can do it all with just one hand (the cat could probably do it, it’s so easy). I’ve even started using them for myself on short errand trips when the sun is strong; there’s one under the driver’s seat of each vehicle now. Compared to the shades that hook over the window, I find these a big, big improvement. Super happy.

Great car window shades, small enough and also big enough
After driving across the US in August with another adult, I decided to get some kind of window shade for the person on whichever side of the car is sunny. We have a great car, the a/c works fine - but when it's 100 degrees and sunny, one person is cold and the other person is hot. I used my windshield-size pop up sun screen while driving across Kansas but that's not safe. This 2-pack of stick-on shades is perfect!! They fit down beside the seat when not needed and they just stick to the glass when you need one. I put one on the sunroof when I had a 4-year-old in the back and he loved it. It really sticks, and didnt fall off the sunroof. I will use it at night on the passenger side to reduce glare from bright headlights in the side-view mirror. These things are brilliant!

Mind your side window size
When summer finally gets to my neck of the world, it comes with a vengeance. An infant doesn't need a faceful of the dreaded daystar. Mine reacts similarly to a vampire, hissing and throwing his arms up to impotently fend off the beams in his face. Somehow they manage to sneak in through the too-short sunshade on his Chicco KeyFit 30 carrier and harass him. Enter the Britax sun shades as a solution. My pediatrician recommends film-based sun shades over just mesh to protect babies from the sun, based on their enhanced UVA/UVB protection and better coverage. The Britax shades incorporate mesh and a sun-blocking film on the clingy side that sticks to the window. My Mazda 6's rear passenger-side window takes the whole shade wonderfully: slap it on, press down for a good fit, and go. Adjustments take seconds to correct it. The sticky side leaves few smudges on the glass, nothing that a quick wipe down with a paper towel or a wet wipe won't fix. On our Ford Focus coupe, however, the tapering passenger side windows are wider at one end than the other. The EZ-cling sun shade adheres to the glass on one side, but on the other, it cannot really make contact with the fabric headliner. I am reluctant to cut the shades down to fit because I am unsure whether the mesh will stay attached to the film, or whether the whole kit and kaboodle will unravel. Squishing down does not produce an adequate seal. The sun shades are relatively easy to see through, but drivers should take a few minutes to get used to shoulder-checking through a big black rectangle. The ideal time to do this is not twenty minutes after dusk when the crepuscular light blends into the asphalt or the other predominantly silver and black cars on the road. Pulling down the shade when not in use is also straightforward. It just peels away, although I'm reluctant to do this so often that the shade begins to lose its adherence powers.

Finally found something that works!
I own a Mazda 3 and have bought some other sunscreen covers but they were too big. I ended up giving them to family members. For the price I thought I would try these. My rear passenger windows are an odd angle on the Mazda 3. I know people did not like they might have a few creases and whatnot but knowing they fit, that is all the matters to me! They are not dark but enough to block the direct sunlight out of my 20 month old daughter's eyes. When I received them I actually stuck them on my fridge so they would shape out and later that night took them out to the car. We have been in the 90's or even in the triple digits and these stay in place. Very happy I found shades that work for my little girl.Added September 13, 2012: These have held up very well! My 23 month daughter grabbed it once but was not able to remove it from the window. Think it was too far from her hands. I wanted to add I have electric windows and forget about the shades sometimes while driving through the neighborhood. I might pass family who want to see/talk to my daughter and roll the window down thinking I have destroyed the shade. The first time I did it, I was certain it was gone. Oddly enough it folded up but it did not damage the shade at all and when I rolled the window up, the shade went up to! I have done this about 10 times with no damage to the shade. I just make sure to not roll the window all the way down. I am really happy with the quality of these. Best car shades I have purchase and the fact that they fit my small back windows was the selling point!

Bent frames, wrinkled plastic
I loved the first pair I bought, damaged them by forgetting to take them off before I rolled down the window. Two subsequent orders had bent frames and wrinkled plastic, like they’d been kept folded up too long. Annoying, but I still like their convenience.

easy to use
These sun shades are intended for use in rear side windows. Most shades for windshields are larger & bulky to keep in the car when not in use. I am using this product on my windshield. Just as subscribed they are easy to install. I can easily place both shades on either side of the windshield. And they take up less room in my car.

Easy
These are great to slap up on the widow to keep the afternoon sun from beating into the car. Easy to put on and off, but definitely remember to remove them before you roll down your window or you’ll go fishing for it in the door like I did. They hold on!
