Blazing Needles Solid Twill Papasan Chair Cushion, 52" x 6" x 52", Grape

Love it! Great quality and very comfortable. The cushion is pretty thick. I ordered color indigo, it is more blue than expected, but still lovely. The size fits my 52" papasan perfect.

Wow! A double layer papasan chair? Here's the story: We have a standard papasan chair and have now (2017) added this 52x6x52-inch papasan cushion on top of the 48x6x48-inch cushion we purchased for this same chair frame in 2014. The old 48-inch cushion was still serviceable and comfortable but had settled from its original 6-inch thickness to about 4 inches. So we decided to purchase another larger cushion and place it on top of the original one which would then be further support for the new cushion. Good idea? Well, we weren't sure but decided to give it a try and chose an even larger cushion, viz., this 52x6x52 cushion. And believe you us, this 52-inch cushion is defnitely larger and thicker and sturdier in every way! As it happened we also had previously purchased the somewhat oversized protectuve slip cover for the 48x6x48 chair and footstool cushions and wonder of wonders! the slip cover was not at all oversized for thiis 52-inch chair cushion. This part is probably not necessary to know, but if you happen to have already purchased the slip cover, it will also fit this larger cushion though you do have to wrestle with it a bit (not too much). Next we just placed the new 52-inch cushion right on top of the old 48-inch cushion and voila! we had a new, huge (relatively speaking) papasan chair. And comfortable? Yes! More comfortable and more spacious ...Once you sit in it and it all settles a bit, you have a comfortable and lovely looking papasan chair. And if you thought sleep was great on the regular size one-layer papasan cushion, you won't believe how two feel with the top one being quite a bit larger and firmer than even the 48-inch cushion! This double layer of cushions creates something in between a single papasan chair and a double papasan chair without taking up anything like as much room. ONE LAST THOUGHT: We think that the bottom papasan cushion should be either the 44-inch or the 48-inch diameter with the top cushion being this larger diameter 52-inch cushion. This top 52-inch cushion is really thicker and firmer than you may be expecting, so trying to use two of these would very likely amount to overkill. The standard size papasan chair frame works very well as described above but, looking at our new creation, we could clearly see that two of these larger diameter, thicker 52-inch cushions could be too much of a good thing.

Perfect fit for chair, the look is adorable, very comfortable stuffing, chair is used daily by multiple people and the cushion is still fluffy, also purchased a cover to keep it clean and change the style to match my house. Absolutely recommend this item!

Very nice quality! I searched a lot of cushions before choosing this one and am very pleased. I was worried about feeling the chair through the cushion. And while when I first sit I can feel the chair a bit, once I lean back and get comfortable I don't feel the chair through the cushion at all. If I feel like I can still feel the chair through it at more of a sitting up straight position ill just place a small cushion under the butt section. When you lay back it seems like it just envelopes you and no other pillows are needed for your head or neck. My chair was measuring for the recommended 48" size cushiom, but I wanted to be extra sure I had plenty of cushion so opted to go with the 52". I could have gone with the 48" as I have a good section of over hang, but I would have rather gone bigger then too small. I went with the cobalt color because of the price and it won't show my German shepards hair as much. I actually had the chair frame and foot stool given to me and the stool had a black cushion. I love the color and will prob buy the matching foot stool cushion now just to have them match! It is very think and super soft when you sit in it. My 6 year old absolutely loves it! I didn't give it 5 stars on durability because I havent had it long enough to know. And the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars on comfort is because I can feel the chair just a bit when I sit, (which I honestly dont think will be a problem) but as soon as I lay back its like laying on a cloud!

Great for a base that we ordered elsewhere. Great quality. My student had enjoyed it in her dorm and said that it is comfortable and good thickness. Looks like photo

Loved the quality and the richness of the color. Cushion was nice and thick and super comfortable.

Comfortable but the synthetic fabric is slippy. 10 mins with a fidgety child (or restless adult) and the Cushion slides out of the chair frame. While you try to get comfy, the cushion is on the move and sliding out of the chair. Then you have to get up, re-arrange only to Rinse and repeat. Suggest some velcro bands or other kind of straps would be helpful to hold the Cushion in the chair

I put extra blankets in the cushion cover to make the papasan chair cushion extra comfy 😇😇 the papasan cushion itself doesn’t have a zipper to add more cushion, so getting a cushion cover is necessary if u don’t want it to get ruined or needs to be washed. As you can see my cat loves it, favourite spot in the house

This is really great. Fair price, good quality, sturdy, comfy. I was really worried ordering from Amazon but the quality is awesome. Order a size bigger than you actually think you need, though. It arrived about 5 days earlier than scheduled. Highly recommend!

En plein ce que je recherchais!! J’ai acheté ce coussin afin de remplacer l’ancien qui n’était pas confortable. Rien à voir avec celui-ci!! Enfin!

Bought this cushion for my old papasan chair. Love it!! Would definitely buy another one if needed!
