Starts big and awesome, and keeps getting better!
Samurai MegaZord starts off big and keeps getting better. 5 Zords come in this set to form MegaZord, and he comes with a sword that is almost as tall as him. The five Zords, are the large LionZord, the two medium sized BearZord and DragonZord, and the smaller ApeZord and TurtleZord. Each figure has it's own character, and changing them back and forth is a whole lot of fun. Each Zord alone is a little work of art. To be able to get them to fold up and hold their shape, or transform into a body part that works with MegaZord. They are really well designed to stay together when you are playing with MegaZord. I have not had any pieces fall off during play.Alone, MegaZord is great. He has three possible modes, where his body is changed around, his head is spun, and he becomes a different compass direction. You will need the addition of the OctoZord in order to build the final compass direction, but it is not necessary to play. When you start to add on other sets, MegaZord becomes that much better. Part of the fun of the ZordBuilder series is being able to work your way up with each additional Zord to create yet one more amazing guy. I would suggest starting with the ClawZord. Standing at about equal height, combing test two adds an extra 4 inches in height, and a whole lot of weight . Building the Claw Armor MegaZord does not disappoint.

4-year old grandson loved it
When my daughter said that my grandson desperately wanted this action figure for his birthday, I was skeptical. Another toy with a bunch of pieces that would be lost immediately or break, a sword that would stimulate his desire to stick things like his sister, and in general something that would keep his attention for 20 minutes, tops. However, he loved it, didn't stick anyone with the sword (after a warning), nothing has broken, and since he and Mom kept the pieces together (in part because they are mostly fairly large, I think), it was a very successful gift. Since it breaks down into a series of robo-animals, it's less warlike and the animals can interact with each other in play. Everything fits together smoothly, and he was able to completely take it apart and put it together soon after it was unwrapped. It was useful in taking along to a series of informal shore restaurants to keep him at the table and out of mischief on vacation. Good toy.

Samurai Megazord Review
I bought the Samurai Megazord for my son, and he has really enjoyed playing with it. The zords have an overall decent feel and quality to them, though I was disappointed they didn't transform into their symbol shapes. A lot of the smaller pieces also tend to snap off, and while most of them can be snapped right back on, there was an issue with the ape zord where the bolt for his arm broke, so now he can't be played with in animal mode.Overall though, the damage of the toy is usually dependant on how hard it's played with. This is a great item and one I would recommend to any Power Rangers fan.

So easy a 4 year old can use it!
I detest these big plastic toys. My son begged for this and eventually asked santa for it. He loves the size of it compared to the little play figures. Just like the show, it's scale towers over the little people. The parts all come apart and "transform " into their Zord animals. By transform, I mean 1 or 2 simple moves and it becomes the animal or goes back to the body part. They clip together easily and do not fall off with play. My son can take it apart, put it together and transform everything by himself. Sometimes the turtle looses a foot in the process, but it is easily fixed. The two smallest parts are the mask/hat and the sword, and they are not so small as to be easily lost and cannot get sucked up the vacuum. This is a good toy, well made and fun.

My Son Loves This Toy!
Awesome toy! My son is 7 and has feel in love with the power ranger samurai series. They toy performs and works as expected. My son watched several you tube videos on the toy before he received so as soon as it was out of the box he hasn't put it down. I love this toy because it forces my son to use his fine motor skills for something other than video games. I like the idea that they toy works like a transformer because it allows my child to think strategically when converting between the zords and creating the megazord. My son also received the Claw Zord for christmas that works together with the megazord to create the bigger Claw Armor Megazord. I would recommend getting this zord and the Claw Zord for your child.

A fun and pricey world.
My 5 year old son can't get enough of his Megazord. The transformations are soooo much easier for his age group than his Transformer toys. The toy is dense plastic that is tough. He's dropped it with no tragedies. You'll get hooked into getting all these vehicles and monsters. The megazord can be combined with a clawzord and tigerzord we own. Months of playing and no boredom yet. Fun toy.

Awesome Samurai Megazord
This is an excellent Megazord to play with... there are some points that aren't that great about it such as the Turtlezord being the only one that can go into its Foldingzord mode... another issue is the Apezord's fold up parts that create the hand will fall off quite easily but it's a quick fix as long as you know how to correct it. Another issue is with the Turtlezord's wings since they will fall off but just like the Apezord's arms, they're easy fixes so it's not a big deal. The transformation of the zords for Megazord mode are very easy to deal with but connecting the legs to the Lionzord will definitely require a bit of muscle for it.
