Buffalo Games - Aimee Stewart - Candylicious - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

For a cheap puzzle I'm satisfied with the quality. While I didn't have any missing or damaged pieces, the pieces don't "snap together" and you can't easily move sections of the puzzle. They still fit together nicely enough that I didn't end up having any pieces in the wrong spots. I had a lot of fun with the colors and textures!

Pretty colors which made it fun to do. I didn’t feel like the pieces fit together very well… But it was fun to do and I enjoyed it 😊

I have had this puzzle for a few years, have completed it two or three times. The picture is crisp and clear, the colors are bright and cheerful. Pieces fit well together. I have really become a fan of the Buffalo Games puzzles since they are well made and reasonably priced.

I've been on a puzzle kick since the pandemic started and I've completed more than 60 puzzles. Aimee Stewart is by far my favorite artist. She has lots of details in her art, which I love. I'm not crazy about puzzles that have large quantities of blue sky or green grass. I want variety and I was color! Aimee gives you that in droves.

The puzzle description contains the following statement in the description: trademarked "Perfect Snap" technology ensuring a tight interlocking fit between pieces.See my 2nd picture where I've circled 2 areas. These pieces "slide" together but do NOT snap. Therefore the puzzle tends to fall apart in those areas. And if you work in sections (like we do) you will find moving components difficult because it falls apart. Our solution: use a spatula.Few other comments:1) REALLY did NOT have cardboard dust and that was fantastic!2) glare factor is still a bit too much for us -- we are working at our dining room table. Lighting is 6 LED bulbs in a hanging lamp.3) picture itself has odd composition. Appears to be created using photo shop techniques resulting in odd color variations, odd shadows, odd depth differences, etc. That's not to say you shouldn't avoid this puzzle, but beware it's not going to be what one would consider a "pretty" picture. Oversaturated colors pleased my eye but grand daughter didn't like it.4) was not terribly hard and granddaughter and I finished it in about 10 hours5) quality of pieces themselves was quite good with only 1 (that I saw) which showed a bit of peeling; all the others were quite flat and sturdyNote: ignore what appears to be wet areas on the back -- that's our glue which hadn't quite dried when I took the picture.

I really enjoyed this puzzle. It had a poster for great visibility and the colors were so vibrant. The pieces fit together perfectly. My only gripe is a few of the pieces came apart if I tried them in a wrong spot and then went to remove them. But some of that is user error!

For the amount I paid, this puzzle was of a very good quality, better than expected. It was a challenge because the colors are all over the place in this puzzle. But, if you're looking for a challenge you should enjoy the puzzle. The pieces fit nicely together and as a bonus, there was absolutely no odor from this puzzle as I'm finding in many other puzzle brands I've tried over the pandemic. Also the pieces feel nice and clean, and some other puzzles they almost feel greasy or sticky. And finally, there was little dust in this puzzle. Some of the other bands I've tried have tablespoons full of dust in the bottom of the box and really affect my allergies. Thoroughly enjoyed putting this one together.

Beautiful and colorful but final image ruined by damaged pieces. Sad day.

Puzzle and manufacturer did great.Amazon's auto packaging and shipping not so well, puzzle box inside Amazon envelope looked like a truck had driven into it!
