Harsh elements? This Tundra boot from Baffin was made for all of it. Fully waterproof, this boot has the technology to keep out the absolute harshest conditions. The durable nylon upper offers flexible walking, while the drawstring shaft ensures even more warmth and dryness. Twenty-five years ago Baffin Footwear began manufacturing insulated and non-insulated footwear products. While traditional molded boots are suitable for some conditions, they are not ideal for cold temperatures. Baffin combines leading molding technology with a foam-based inner boot system, which creates a hybrid style of high-performance footwear. This equates to more warmth, better fit, and superior comfort. Baffin boots are different than most shoes and work boots because the sole and midsole are molded to the base in one continuous process. The sole itself is a marvel of modern engineering because it is made up of several advanced thermo-set polymers that are combined together to achieve the right balance of warmth, protection, low weight and grip. Baffin is dedicated to offering boots with functionality and fashion, while still maintaining their legendary performance.

Good enough with some minor gripes
Good boot. Wore it on a long 1.29mile walk. I am a size 11 shoe with big toes so I get 12's for my hiking boots. I intend to take these to wear in Iceland so I don't freeze when trying to see the Northern Lights. I wanted to make sure they worked well just standing around and they do. The inner boot is high and hugs well. The toe box also works and when I get my inner sock and boot socks on it should cut down on that loose back heel movement that pulls down your sock. I could have used a second higher velcro band as the single one is nice but two would have been perfect. Also, please understand boot makers those loops to help you pull up your boots should be wide enough for three gloved fingers to fit in instead of just one unloved pinky finger. I haven't tested the water resistant qualities yet so that remains to be seen. As for the sole and grip it is excellent and the wide track is very stable.

Winter Boots that Work
We live in North West Wisconsin on Lake Superior, and our winters are pretty harsh up here. I bought these for my son, who is also a type one diabetic, to keep his feet warm and dry. He loves them and they work really well!I also appreciate that you can take the blue liner out and throw them in the dryer if they are damp from his sweaty feet.

Very comfortable and fit great
I needed a pair of winter boots this year, and a friend recommended this brand. They arrived quickly, and the next day I went snowshoeing with a group of friends. I am really pleased with how comfortable and warm these boots are. This model (Tundra) was listed as being just undersized. My shoe size is 13D, so I ordered a size 14. I can literally slip my foot in and out of these boots with ease, but once my foot is in the boot, there is no heel slippage or toe wiggles. They fit great. The toe box is perfect. I spent roughly 5 hours in 25F degree weather snowshoeing and my feet were warm and cozy, and even without breaking in these boots, I had zero issues with pain points or blisters. And the best part is I could just pull my foot out of the boot at the end of the day. I'm 65 and have arthritis in my left hip and knee, so bending over to buckle or unbuckle boots is really painful. These boots are as comfortable and convenient as my Merrill shoes. My advice is to order one size larger than your shoe size, especially if you have a wide foot. I can recommend these boots to anyone without hesitation. Exceptionally well-made and very warm and comfortable.

Warm and comfortable
First impression is these are just what I was looking for. I haven't done any serious outside time with them yet, but they seem warm for the time I used them. Quality seems good for the price point and they are surprisingly light. I went out of my way to walk on some ice on a parking lot and they seem to have decent grip. I am wearing medium weight wool socks and they are a bit snug. If they don't compress a bit and open up I can use a thinner wool sock to avoid restricting blood flow. I was able to drive a manual transmission with them so driving shouldn't be a problem.

Much Smaller Than Advertised Fit
I ordered this in my usual size 10 men's, and even in pulling it from the box I could tell it was way too small. Sure enough, didn't fit at all. It did fit my wife, however, who wears a women's size 9, so that should give you a good idea of just how off the size was. I know this is a Baffin sizing issue and not peculiar to me, because at the same time I had ordered the Baffin Trapper's Boot, also in the exact same men's 10 size, and it fit me perfectly. So the question is: How can the same manufacturer have two men's boots in totally different actual sizes, while claiming both are size 10?This Tundra winter boot does seem to be high quality though, and we are keeping it for my wife to wear ... but men buyers, beware this size issue. I think I would need to buy it in a size 12 for a comfortable fit.

Very good quality
I've worn them on 1 long snowmobile ride and they kept my feet very warm and dry. Usually I just use them for snow blowing the driveway or to do work around the yard during the winter. Slide on and off very well.

Perfect for sport
This boot is one of the best for snowmobile riders as it highly reliable due to the best features it offers with high-level protection to give you the ultimate joy of snowmobiling. Everything advertised is true about the boot, and price was right. Couldn't pass these up, and glad I didn't. My husband loves them!

Great winter boot.
This is a great boot that has kept my feet warm and dry in spite of bitterly cold weather, deep snow, and [at times] wet conditions. Because of the added insulating material within the boot I would recommend purchasing boots AT LEAST one full size larger than a person's normal size in order to have sufficient toe room.

Not waterproof
Jesus thought these would be waterproof all the way up2 the top of the boot , and they are not , only waterproof first 4 inches when the fabric changes they are not waterproof, fishing from the beach and wave came in 6 inches up the boot , and feet soaking ahhhhh

Great Buy!
I’m a women’s size 8, I ordered a men’s size 7 and they fit great! These boots have been put to the test this past week with the polar vortex, it was -48 here in Alberta Canada, and my feet stayed super warm in these boots! They are also nice and tall, unlike a lot of women’s winter boots, so deep snow is not a issue. I highly recommend these boots!

These boots were made for winter walking and that's just what I did.
In Ottawa. The second coldest capital in the world, only Mongolia has a colder one.And I walk like everywhere and these are the first boots in a while that won't have me looking for another set next year as has been my burden for like three or four years.Cannot praise more than that.

Great boots, very good quality
Great boots, very good quality. I can walk for hours without getting my feet cold. I wish they were a bit taller, but I still strongly recommend.
