Adcraft PBR-1218 16-Gauge Heavy-Duty Aluminum Bake and Roast Pan with Drop Handle

I received this pan yesterday - just in time to cook dinner. I roasted chicken thighs, Italian sausages, red potatoes, red peppers, onions and garlic in olive oil. I set the oven to 450 and started roasting. Wow! Everything was cooked beautifully with amazing carmelization on the bottom of the pan. After I removed everything, I added a small amount of chicken stock to deglaze the pan. That created some beautiful pan juices which we drizzled over everything. Dinner was great, the pan roasted the meats and vegetables evenly and to perfection. The pan did not warp and clean-up was a snap. I'm going to order 2 more since I tend to cook many dinners in one day to freeze. Having several of these roasting pans will definitely make that process a pleasure! I did have reservations about this purchase, but not any more. This is a workhorse of a roaster and the price is right!

I make lots of meatballs when I make spaghetti sauce and they don't seem to stick to this pan. Also make party mix and this is a good size for that.

This is a nice pan for the price. I had originally purchased a heavier one that I loved, but it would not fit in my wall oven due to the fixed handles. This wasn't as nice or as heavy (or as expensive) as the other, but, for the price it is just fine. It cleans up easily and cooks evenly, as aluminum typically does. My husband baked a glazed ham in it as soon as we got it and we thought it was ruined because the glaze had burnt on the pan so badly. However, a soak overnight in mild soapy water and it came perfectly clean. No complaints.

I bought this because I needed a larger pan for roasting a spatchcocked turkey than the standard 9x13 roasting pan. Since I got it I used it to roast marrow bones and oxtail to make beef stock and it cleaned up incredibly well. I thought it was a good deal for the price.

For the price this is one nice pan. I use this pan in my drum smoker as a water pan and it works perfectly.

Good size and weight. Cleans up nicely and easily. Use it for enchiladas and potlucks primarity.
