Quality ABS Filament at a good price. Prints very well as long as you observe the ABS instructions for your printer and this Filament. I had to leave a review for this filament. I spotted it had good reviews and on the day I bought it, it was on offer. I've had issues in the past with ABS printing as I'm sure many others have experienced. Adhesion has always been a particular challenge. Through experimenting have found that a temp of 220 with the bed at 90 has been the best for my printer with ABS however I've always also had to use a significant amount of '3DLac Plus' to get it to stick to the bed (Creality Glass Bed).I set my printer to the ABS settings and off it went. First time, the print was almost perfect. I was amazed that I didn't see any warping or coming away from the bed and just one small squirt of 3DLac was all that was needed. Certainly no more than I would use on a normal PLA print.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this filament. I've always liked the eSun brand but this one really impressed me. ABS Printing has become a lot easier using this filament!

It's a real pain on... the heated bed. I've tried printing on Creality glass, PEI, and a spring steel sheet at temperatures ranging from 90 to 110°C, with minimal adhesion and numerous failures. The only thing that helped with adhesion is the blue painter's tape at 108°C for the first layer, then back to 103°C. (I've never tried glue or any messy substances on my build surface.)For me, the optimal nozzle temperature is 225°C. At and above 235°C, there are significant artifacts on overhangs, and it drags the corners in (or up). With the above settings, after the first 5 layers, I can also turn on the fan at 30% speed.Despite the long learning curve, I loved its color and bought a second spool when it was on offer.I recommend to play with it and find your sweet spot.

The media could not be loaded.  The only good ABS you can get on Amazon UK. Very fragile filament if you don't dry it and print in cool enviroment. It's perfect once you setup your settings. It workd out great for me only after filament got completly dry, 250c first layer and further 240C, Fan completly off, used encolsure, 0.4mm nozzle, 96% flowrate, 0.24mm first layer height, with applying primafix on bed for better adhesion, speed first layer 20mm, and regular 50mm. Hopefully this will help somebody. Spent almost a whole spool to get this ABS printing. Changed to 5 star. ThanksUpdateThis ABS+ is great. Could achieve stuning results only on a Voron printer, with custom settings in Superslicer. Bed 110, first layer 260, rest on 250.Prints fine on Ender as well, you really have to setup the slicer.

Prints look good but poor layer adhesion means they are extremely weak. Tried all possible permutations of temperature and fan speed, including those recommended by eSun using their downloaded profiles but no luck. Just bad filament. Returning my unused roll. AVOID!

I don't often feel moved to review stuff, but felt compelled to in this case. I've been 3d printing with ABS for years, using a wide variety of filament brands. In my experience, there are only small differences between them.Compared to the rest, this eSun ABS+ really stands out! The precision and detail I'm getting with the same settings I use for normal ABS are spectacular, and it doesn't string. I've had no problems with bed adhesion or 'crumbling parts', as some others have reported: they come out strong and sturdy.It has a more matt surface appearance, which might not be be as appealing to some, but sands and slicks pretty well. I've only tried black so far, but am intending to buy some other colours. Well done eSun!

This is a good brand.White can often be a bit more challenging, but this seems to print very well.The + to mee is low odor and more stable.I cannot comment on fumes as I print in a garage and don't normally work in there while printing.Used on a voron 2.4 and ratrig vcastMust be enclosed even if this is just dropping a carbord box over the printer.Drafts make parts warp.The higher ambient temperature makes the layer adhesion really good.Only print with a fan if you have overhangs.

This filament is very easy to get good looking prints with, however, the layer adhesion is terrible. I've printed loads of test parts playing around with print speed and nozzle temperature, but I can't get any strong parts, making it useless for me.Perhaps I've received a bad batch and you may have better luck than I did.

I'm reviewing the black eSun ABS+ filament. This is now my most purchased filament. I haven't had any print failures (other than a belt failure which is the fault of my machine). If I print at 240-245, it has a beautiful matte filament. Friends ask specifically for me to print things for them in this filament because of the look and feel. I print a little warmer for layer adhesion, which is fantastic. It's one of the cheapest filaments I purchase, and it's the best all-around material and usually my first choice for a functional part. I have filaments that are stronger, but not as tough or temp resistant. I have tougher filaments, but they aren't as stiff. All of my "performance" filaments cost more than this filament.With ABS, companies can vary the amount of A, B, and S in the material, so everyone's is a bit different. This is a great composition. It does have the styrene smell (the "S" in the name) like ASA and HIPS do, so I don't print when I'm in the same room until I can get my vent system working. If there are "low odor" ASA/ABS varieties, they'd probably have less styrene, and this material has a perfect amount so I'll take this tradeoff.I'm still kind of amazed that this material is such a great all-around material and pretty much the second cheapest filament I buy. I've paid much more money for inferior filaments that were harder to print.I print with a direct extruder onto a smooth PEI spring steel sheet, sometimes covered in magigoo, sometimes without. I print in an actively heated chamber at 45C. I'm not sure how this prints in a passive enclosure or open printer.

Ho provato questo materiale su una stampante Zortrax con i parametri di stampa definiti dal software proprietario e ha dato da subito ottimi risultati. Il materiale risulta leggermente più secco rispetto ad altri ma più tenace per particolari meccanici e molto simile all'ABS-Ultrat di Zortrax. Non presenta nessun problema di inceppamenti, per cattivo avvolgimento del filamento sulla bobina. Direi ottimo.

Erg fijn filament: Eenvoudig te printer en warpt minder dan standaard ABS.Het is ook vrij mat in vergelijking met bijv. Sunlu ABS, wat ik persoonlijk mooier vind.
