Very beautifully detailed Images Inside!! Goes through the history, maps, ethnicities & the outside cover Is a very nice touch!! Made a great gift for 1 of our sons!!

Great history book! I bought for a grandchild. It's colorful and bright, with lots of interesting factoids. Two thumbs up from the recipient.

I really like the pictures and descriptions in this book. They are interesting and to the point. It is a little hard to read cover to cover, because of the book’s size and scope, but read a little bit at a time or as a reference, this book is quite good.

With teachers unions dominating the curricular limitations on students, and PC teachers that lack much of the needed academic foundation for actually teaching, it is up to parents to support their child’s intellectual growth despite these imposed limitations.Text & graphics are well presented, and learning can result.

This has some really good details of a lot of history of civilizations. Anti-evolutionists will have to bite their tongue and try to get past some of the very early pages, but if they can, it is worth it to see the presentation of how a lot of human history and civilizations progressed across the map. For the most part, this was presented in a pretty impartial manner with lots of very good detail, trivia and facts scattered on each page as you make your way through from ancient history and migrations to the current times. All this in typical DK Knowledge book style with plenty of side boxes and notes and full page custom diagrams and pictorials.

I'm unsure of how to review this because the book itself is great, so I don't want to give fewer stars to make people think it isn't. But the binding was damaged and it's coming off. I'm not thrilled about that and unfortunately can't drive anywhere right now to bring it somewhere to have it returned.

Great book

I've only only had a little time with this book. It is good info & done well with great illustrations. I have yet to find the historical info about Jesus.
