Gentle is easier to work with than the Ultra
So I have otherwise been using the Sugar Me Smooth system and while I do LOVE it, it is pricier (for good reason. It is a fantastic product!). Since I prefer to do my underarms, bikini line, and sometimes even Brazilian, with the cloth strips to remove the sugar wax, I go through it much faster than if I was just using the flicking method (which I do for my legs). I tried the Ultra from this brand first and while it does work well, I found it tough to work with. Very difficult to get out of the tub. I do feel I should mention that I have had carpal tunnel surgery in the past so my hands are definitely not what they used to be. That could also effect that. The Gentle, for me, is much easier to work with. Be sure to use plenty of prep powder! I prefer the 100% bentonite clay that came with the Sugar Me Smooth system so I ordered a bag of it from another brand on Amazon. Again, same thing and much cheaper. If you are like me and were trying to find a sugar similar to Sugar Me Smooth, I would say the Gentle is probably the closest to it. As always, do it in a cool temperature room and having a fan blowing at the area you are waxing is also helpful. Sugaring is much less painful than waxing and I will never go back. I can’t shave my bikini line ever due to how angry and painful it gets immediately after and until the hair grows all the way. Sugaring has eliminated that problem. No issues after sugaring that area (use a soothing spray/cream after!) and no issues as the hair begins to grow back. It’s trial and error as you begin to learn how to sugar and it can take some time in the beginning, but it is SO worth it! It’s even easier if you just use cloth strips to pull the sugar off, just know you will go through product faster. Hopefully my review wasn’t all over the place. I tried to mention all of the things that I was searching for in reviews before I started sugaring.

You use up less sugar than other brands
Ok for the record this review is from a male personal experience using the Luxury Pro Sugaring Paste. Now I have 9 years of sugaring experience on self Sugaring if that should help. I have tried other known brands at from my experience this brand has now become my go to brand. I was in a pinch and I really needed a sugaring paste and at the same time I just didn't want to purchase the brand that I was using for any years. And so I came here on Amazon to see what was available. So on 04.2024 I purchased this Sugaring paste. When it arrived I was impressed with the packaging as well as the product is packaged in. So I began to sugar my face (yes my face. I don't shave lol) neck, shoulders and parts of my chest. So what I have noticed with this product is that one I do not need to lightly heat it in order to work with it. I used it straight out of the container both in cool and warm temperature rooms. I was able to cover more areas with this paste than with competitive brands. Keep in mind I do not wear gloves or use a squeegee. I use my bare fingers throughout the process. With competitive brands it would heat up fast in my fingers creating a sticky process along with repeated trips to the freezer just to keep it in tach. That alone was time consuming and wasteful product. Let alone a poor experience. So like every 2-3 sugaring treatments I went through one container. Each treatment would take me like 3 hours But not with this brand. It is now 11.16.24 and I still have a quarter left in the container. To give you a better idea I sugar once a month. Get my point? Ok so my first impression of using this paste was immediately the quality. You should be able to nice this immediately. It feels pretty thick. I know they usually are thick. Meaning it stays together and for a long time. Even when I used the one application it continued to work up until I stoped. Meaning the paste went from clear to the not clear, and I was able to still keep working with it. I did this to test how well it would preform under extreme use with no gloves/squeegee. Also I never not once had I had to run to the freezer to get it to cool down. Over all to do my face, neck, shoulders and part of my chest I was able to do this within 1 - 1/2 hour at most. I have read a few reviews here and I notice some people are calling the sugar paste as wax/waxing. That is incorrect. This is a sugar paste NOT WAX! Big difference between the two lol I soon plan to make another purchase and will sugar other parts of the body and will follow up with another review of the extended treatment areas. For those that are new to sugaring I highly recommend this brand/product. For those that are experienced and/or own a salon I highly recommend it.

Works
This product is the real deal. Works amazing. I will admit it is a bit messy so I would suggest using gloves or an applicator. I originally purchased the Ultima and found it very difficult to work with decided to try the ultra out instead and it u it s definitely easier to use. Really good for all areas of the body and can be used with wax strips as well just apply a thin layer of wax to the skin . Used this for my Brazilian just as painful as getting it done did take longer but once you master the technique and get used to waxing yourself it’ll get easier. Very happy and saving tons of money. I can get more than a as years worth of waxing out of this jug.

Good Sugar Paste, But Too Expensive for Salon Use
The sugar paste itself is good quality smooth, easy to work with, and it does the job. For home use it’s totally fine and lasts long enough. But the price is pretty high, especially if you work in a beauty salon. Products get used up quickly, and this one becomes too expensive for professional use. Overall: decent paste, just not cost-effective if you go through a lot of product.

WOW! Professional Quality!
Wow! I never felt so compelled to rush to draft a review! I’m a licensed master aesthetician, 15 years in the professional beauty industry, and have been a certified Body Sugaring Practitioner for 8 years. I have experience with the top professional sugaring companies in this industry. I have to say, I was in a pinch and my order didn’t come in on time. I run a very busy medical aesthetics practice and have a slew of sugaring appointments this week. Regretfully, I took to Amazon prime. Most aestheticians especially Master/Medical Aestheticians are hardcore product snobs, because we only what the best, most authentic, and highly performing ingredients in everything we use. Efficacy and how products react with the skin is everything to us. I looked over the ingredients here, looked at the way the product looked in the container, and it seemed this one, out of many others, seemed like the closest to what I use and would be delivered quickly, and would get me through my appointments. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! I needed one for Brazilians and one for full leg services. So I purchased the Ultima and Ultra. I was looking for something equivalent to a firm and a soft. The sugaring paste came packed EXTREMELY professionally! The container the label the business cards EVERYTHING was extremely professional! Quite elegant I must add. I blended it with the bit of my other sugaring paste just in case I was disappointed. I did use my sugar paste warmer to bring it to the appropriate temperature and wow! Absolutely fabulous results! Just as good as my Tamera’s Sugaring Paste. For the pros wondering about this: I don’t think any sugaring paste can compare to Alexandria Professional’s , but if you’ve ever used Tamara’s Sugaring paste I’d say this sugaring paste is in a class of its own as well, but is definitely more comparable to Tamara’s. The Ultima is a true firm. The Ultra works more like a medium soft. Kinda wish I’d ordered the Gentle because I like soft sugar for the legs and I use the ancient technique. I don’t use this as a form of waxing so I don’t use any strips but I was worried the Gentle would work like Alexandria professional’s Kiss, which is a thinner sugar for people who use sugaring paste in place of soft wax. After using the Ultra, I think I will purchase the Gentle. I’m very excited about this product line. I’m surprised to see a product like this on Amazon because this isn’t for the general public, as one can gather by reading through the reviews (also just my opinion). This product is high quality and hands down a professional item for licensed Aestheticians and Cosmetologists that are trained Body Sugaring Practitioners. Otherwise, you wouldn’t know exactly how to maneuver this or would have bruises. Or you’d try to use this like it’s wax. It’s definitely not! Definitely am an instant fan, and will be reordering more. THANKS SUGARING FACTORY! Your products and packaging, even the way the product was packaged for delivery was exceptional. Love your vibe!

Bad Product. Does not work AT ALL!
I never leave Amazon reviews on anything but nothing has made me more frustrated than this product. Listen. I came here straight from TikTok cause sugaring is supposed to be the new best thing to remove hair. I bought the medium AND hard wax versions of the product. Also bought drying powder as directed and applicators. For the medium wax, it was hard to get out of the tub then melted immediately in your hands when you tried to use it. It was sticky and hard to control. If you got it to form a solid line to remove hair, it took multiple attempts to remove all the wax and it never came off in one pull. When I used the wax in combination with the drying powder, in this case a type of baby powder, it not only did not remove all the hairs in the section and left me with prickly or hairy sections it also left multiple bruises all over my legs. On the instructions, it says to apply against the hair growth and then pull with the hair growth parallel to the leg to avoid bruising and discomfort. The discomfort was mild but the bruising was abundant. I then thought that perhaps the hair not being removed was due to the wax hardness level, so I bought the hard wax instead. Money wasted both times. The hard wax, even brought to room temperature, as the instructions say to not heat, is nearly impossible to get out of the container with or without an applicator and the hard wax did exceedingly worse at removing hair. -10 out of 10 would not recommend to anyone. I followed all instructions precisely and still could not get even a slightly good result.

If you fail, try try again
I feel compelled to write this review and share my experience. So after I had seen a few videos of how fantastic sugaring was and how easy the videos made it look, I said why not? So went to my favorite place to order all things, read reviews and placed an order. It arrives and im super excited! mind you I also ordered the sugaring powder because if your gonna do it, do it right! Sooo I proceed to follow instructions that came with it and lets say it was a messy sticky disaster. Luckily no matter how bad you mess up, it all comes off with warm water! Defeated, I chalked it up to, well I kinda just slapped it on to try it out didn't wash the skin, ect. My second attempt didn't go any better and I did wash the area, powdered I was all ready! I proceed to smear it on and again I can't get this stuff off! It's just all over the place, my fingers are stuck together with the wax stick in between. I was sooo frustrated, again defeated I wash it all off and put that torture molasses away for another day. When i decided to give this one more try i was determined to make this work! Set everything up and gave it a go. FAIL! As I cleaned up the mess and accepted failure, I swore never again to order stuff based on a few targeted videos. Bitter, I went into my Amazon acct and requested a refund to try and forget this fiasco. After a few hours had gone by, I just couldn't let this wax made of sugar get the best of me so I head to the place where you can can learn all things... YouTube. Now, I had watched a few other videos prior with no success. Then I came across videos from a Youtuber by the name abetweene, watched her videos like my life depended on it and had my AHA moment! Armed with my new found information, I gathered all my torture tools, prepped my skin because this wax made of sugar was not going to defeat me. As I spread this gold colored enemy of mine, when it was time to remove, where it had gone wrong all the other times I flicked it just as the video said and Voila! The whole time I was approaching this same way as traditional waxing but no my friends this is different, I had tried the flick before but the new videos I watched really helped and it's all in the flick. Now, I'm still trying to get down the ideal temp to make this more spreadable but let me tell you this is amazing. Large areas like legs is phenomenal because you can keep re using until its not sticky and the process is much faster. I waxed my legs about 2 weeks ago and since its waxed in the direction of the hair growth I feel it did a much better job at pulling the hair out opposed to breaking it because my legs are still smooth. Woohoo success!

Product is A++++ but do your research first before attempting!
Yeah, this is absolutely the only way I will be waxing from now on but don't be like me and do your research first. I had ordered this and some body powder because at the time of purchase I saw that body powder was strongly recommended. Because of the holidays however, I got this far later than the powder and totally forgot I even had it by the time I tore into this 🙄 I was simply far too eager and did not shower before, did not use the powder and did absolutely no research beforehand. Understanding the overall concept was not enough it would seem because I scooped some out, got it all over my hands, could NOT remove it from my hands and slathered it all over my legs like an idiot too. Needless to say, this is not how you do it. Keep it limited to the tips of your fingers and do not do giant thin strips like me. You go against the growth of hair which is opposite to shaving and I didn't realize that. I got some hair off, obviously and it didn't hurt any more than waxing. The fact that it's in small sections I think is the overall appeal. What ruined the first try for me was that I eventually wasn't able to get the sugar up from my skin. It stuck and no amount of gathering up excess and trying to get it to stick to new sugar would help. It just stuck to everything and my hands looked like they did in kindergarten when I'd smear Elmer's glue all over them but WORSE. Luckily this is just sugar and washes off with cold or warm water 😊 I admitted defeat and went on with my day. I haven't tried again since but I plan to once I let the bruises clear up. I read that bruising can happen due to bad technique which I totally admit to. I also bruise VERY easily due to medication I am on. Overall I can see that this will be a game changer for me. I plan on using the powder next, cleansing the skin beforehand and using disposable gloves! I suggest you do too. And watch some YouTube videos on it! Believe me, the research is worth it.
