Deepeeka Bjorn's Bone Grip Viking Seax Knife

The handle fits the hand comfortably. It is nicely balanced. The blade has a channel on one side and is very well crafted and sturdy. The bone design is intricate and interesting. The blade was oiled and shipped snugly secured in a leather sheath.I thought it would be helpful to provide pictures for others who may be interested. I included both sides to show the thickness of the blade.This did not come sharpened but it's high carbon steel so it can be. I will update this review in a few months to inform if there are any flaws that appear, but for now, it's a fun addition to our collection!

The knife itself is a work of art. The blade is sturdy and can definitely take a hit and dish out some damage. I really want to give this 5 stars, but the sheath stitching is just weak and ripped on me in the first 2 days. Overall great knife, but poor sheath.

For a roughly $75 seax....this is a beautiful knife. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this is very well made, well balanced tool. I highly recommend this seax!
