Torco Accelerator 32oz The Best Fuel Additive

Contains MMT a true octane booster. I use this and royal purple max boost. This is more potent but max boost is cheaper i have a z1 turbo snowmobile with tunes up to 300hp. Of the 4 tunes i need octane boost for 3 of them even though turbo dynamics advertises pump gas on all of them... the 4th one the race tune says methanol injection and 91 octane... not the case i have meth injection and 91 octane and throw and knock light in stage 2 at wot... one can if royal purple max boost gives 3 full numbers possibly a bit more as it is only mixed with 10 gallons. Turns 91 octane pur gas no ethanol into 94-95 octane. It works as knock light in stage 2 is gone. Now for stage 3 that is not enought so two cans of that or torco. A half a can of torco is almost good enough for stage 3 i use about 2/3 so 3 cans of torco is 4 full tanks. I have a rear tunnel bag and i put 2 cans if torco in it and a can if max boost. Weave a microfiber towel invetween to prevent dented cans. Then before we take if trailer i already have a full can of max boost in. So even on a full weekend trip of 400 miles of riding i have enough. It may seem like a lot of hassel but its easy just add it right before u put gas in. Just be aware of how much to add, as it all depends on how much fuel u mix it with. All the high numbers it is calable if is based off 5 gallons, and then 10'gallons.!

I've used this product for the past few months on the following engines with these positive results: #1 - Chrysler 440ci (carb): eliminated this hardly noticeable engine hesitation at about 40mph that kept mocking me (all new ignition and fuel system, nothing on oscilloscope), improved acceleration and idle. Huge difference, what a joy to drive again. #2 - Mazda 1.8L (250k miles): dumped a little in just out of curiosity, huge acceleration and idle difference. It's my daily beater so I rarely use it in this engine, just not worth the extra money to speed up to the next red light. #3 - Honda GC190 187cc 4stroke engine (pressure washer): Amazing results. I poured about 2oz into the 1 gallon tank, and it's never started up so easily. Bob Vila has nothing on me. Also I might be imagining things, but even the water pressure felt stronger.

No five stars as there is virtually no perfection. I know this is lengthy but please bear with me. Where to begin? I am very skeptical of "miracle products" and exaggerated claims by manufacturers. Being a performance enthusiast and long time shade tree I have noticed that my vehicles have not been able to realize their full potential due to the "bad" gas. I own two high performance vehicles that demand premium fuel. Since the fueling stations in my area have stopped offering 93 octane fuel, I have been forced to use 91 for some years now, not to mention the fuel here is not much better than the water they sell out west; ACN fuel commonly known to hamper efficiency of engines. Race fuel is inconvenient and expensive to purchase and would take a great deal to mix a ratio to obtain a 93 to 95 octane rating from 91. Cost prohibitive and thus out of the equation. I have tried every off-the-shelf octane booster on the market with little to no positive results. I was on the verge of mixing my own from xylene or toluene but investigated enough to find that this was not very cost efficient and required gallons, not ounces, to make the proper ratio(s). Also, buying this stuff creates a space issue, not to mention the red flags it throws in my Meth making state. I will not mention actual increased octane ratings, boosted to or otherwise made, this product creates. I am not a scientist nor have the equipment and could not factually substantiate those claims. I will not comment on what is in this can as I can't find any definitive answers, only rumors and assumptions and this product seems to be shrouded in a deep layer of secrecy. I can't give you any hard evidence if this product truly adds power as both my vehicles are AWD, no dyno exists for AWD vehicles in my area to even begin a report of power gains. What I can do is give you a report of my senses, the seat of the pants buttdyno. This can be just as informative if approached with an open but analytical mind taking out the placebo effect. Mix ratio seems to be linear. The more you add to a specified base octane fuel, the more the target octane number is increased. 107 octane seems to be the limit of recommended octane by the manufacturer. Vehicle 1: 2008 Subaru STi. 2.5 liter flat 4. Six speed manual. Typical stage 2 upgrades. OTS (off the shelf tune) Single turbo. No cats. 18.5 pounds of boost. Approximate crank power, 325hp/320tq. Conditions present at time of 1 week testing: Mostly city driving with freeway commutes. Average ambient temp of 75* F. Mix ratio of 14 oz of Torco to 16 gallons of 91 octane fuel with 10% ethanol. Cost of use without MPG increase/decrease at previous stated ratio: If bought in 8 oz cans? about 14 dollars per tank. If bought in 32 oz cans? About 10 dollars per tank. if bought in 5 gal pails? About 5 dollars per tank. Impressions: Seat of the pants says it adds power. Idle is more smooth and more prominent (idles a tick higher and deeper). Fire after initial crank of the motor is faster. Exhaust smell is different, sweeter? Power comes on faster and pulls harder under part and full throttle. 5th and 6th gear roll ons are more powerful at highway speeds, the need to downshift is reduced significantly. MPG is down about 1.5 Overall: She screams with this stuff in the tank. Overall it has enhanced the performance of the vehicle. However, MPG has decreased somewhat but i'll take the trade if the ECU isn't pulling timing and detecting knock. Vehicle #2: 2004 Porsche Cayenne TT. 4.5 liter V8. Six speed auto with Tiptronic. Bone stock. No ECU tune. Twin Turbo. .8 bar or 11.5 psi of boost. I think this is the boost target?) Approximate crank power, 450 hp / 450tq. Conditions present at time of 1 week test: 75*F average ambient. City drives with freeway commutes. MIx ratio of 18 0z per 26 gallons of 91 octane fuel with 10% ethanol blend. Cost of use without MPG increase or decrease at previous stated ratio: 8 oz cans, about 17 dollars. 32 oz cans, about 12 dollars. 5 gal pail, about 6 dollars. Impressions: Seat of the pants says it adds a lot of performance. Part throttle response and acceleration is dramatically increased. This Porsche has sometimes a rough idle. This has been smoothed out considerably. Hesitation is eliminated. Pulls hard under wide open throttle. MPG so far, by the computer, shows a slight increase of 0.1. Who knew an SUV would be hanging with sports cars? Overall: The Porsche loves this stuff and is evident that thus far it is benefiting from the Torco product. In surmise: Both vehicles have shown great improvements with the product and nary a negative effect. If you own a boosted, supercharged or turbo, high compression, or any performance vehicle demanding premium fuels and are without a convenient source of higher octane fuel or don't need the extreme octane of race fuel, then this product should fill the gap nicely. From a skeptic whom doesn't easily bite, this stuff really lives up to the claim of enhancing performance. If one was so inclined, you might be able to use Torco and further gain enhancements from ECU tuning. A word of note: Some vehicles shouldn't use or rather won't realize the benefit of Torco. Not saying that they will show ill effects, just that there would really be no useful gains from putting this in the tank of those types of vehicles: EG: your minivan or family Camry. Also be cautious as adding too much could cause ill effects. I suggest going to Torco's site and doing your homework and brushing up on some simple math before venturing forward. Otherwise, dump it in and grin!

Excellent booster

Was pretty sceptical of anything like this as I have tried numerous products in the past and I either noticed no difference or worse performance. Now that I have a supercharged mustang gt, I tend to try to keep the fuel ratings over 93. This stuff made a very noticeable difference in my car. I dynoed at 514 on a DD dyno without it on 93 octane pump gas. I put a bottle of this in the tank and put 10 gallons in the car and it was a different car entirely. Gas mileage went from 19 mpg to 22 and the throttle response was insane with this. If you have a high power car, throttle response is a big deal and you will understand this. The car just felt overall way more powerful and the gas mileage went up. Don't see a negative to that. If you are looking for a nice octane boost then this is it. It works. It may be a little pricey but if you just want to dump it in for a dyno run (haven't tried that yet but need to) or for daily driving (tried that 3x now and makes a HUGE difference) then this is for you. Now this is not a miracle in a bottle so don't misunderstand me. You aren't going to put this in your old beater and gain massive power. This is for vehicles that need high octane. My car was tuned for 93 octane but gets really nice gains from this. I would suggest this for anyone with an aftermarket tuned setup that needs higher octane. If nothing else, it will give you piece of mind that you have high enough octane to not worry about pinging and whatnot.

This stuff is absolutely incredible. I have a 440 racing snowmobile that had some engine work done so I could use premium pump gas instead of 110 octane race fuel (9.64/gal). Long story short 91 octane was still a little too low and i could not get that perfect spark plug color even after all the recommended jetting changes and my own. I found this stuff and gave it a try and I am thrilled!!! It does just as it says, my sled has PERFECT spark plug color and it noticeably runs better, actually perfect! All the other octane "boosters" don't give you true octane number increases....this stuff does. Awesome product.

This product does seem to do what it says. I purchased because my turbocharged "jetski" does not like, or run well on, regular gas. I put this in mixed at about a 4 point increase, and it runs very well. I'm not sure if it was the placebo effect or not but I put some in my car (turbo straight 6, stock, running 93 octane gas) just to see and the car did feel peppier on the street it also averaged its best MPG on a road trip of over 33 MPG. I know that's not the intention of this product but it seemed to make a difference. Now would I run this in a stock vehicle everyday? No. I plan to also give it a try in my modified 395" V8 with high compression to see how that does on the street too.

I'm in the middle of comparing Torco fuel additive octane booster versus actual higher octane mixtures of fuels. I like to run a 50/50 mix of 91/100 octane in my supercharged F150. I keep a bottle of Torco in my truck incase I need to fill up somewhere out of town.
