beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro, Black (Dt1990 (Renewed)

Here is my review after 3 months of use. It fits well on my head, and is very comfortable in long listening sessions. Its weight make them unforgettable, but can be ignored from time to time. The driver quality is amazing, with great imaging, soundstage and low distortion. However, the 8k spike in frequency response hurt my ear at first, but I can adapt to that after about a month. You can always eq it if you don't like the sound. This is the best headphone for eq in my experience.

Audio and fit is amazing!!! I can tell the difference audio-wise by a longshot over my Bluetooth headphones. Refurbished is the way to go, quality and condition of the product were perfect upon delivery, minus the high price tag.

I bought these headphones with the Amazon renewed (excellent condition) the box was roughed up and the headphone case had a scratch on it. Otherwise it seems new. The headphones are wonderful. Clear and detailed. I have read that they can be a bit sharp, that is not my experience. Vocals sound just great on them. I am going to pad roll with them to see if I can get a bit more bass. Totally worth the buy.

First off, if you want a headphone that you can wear all day these are your cans. Secondly you will absolutely need to EQ these for casual listening the treble can be harsh and has an edge to it that cuts off some of the smoothness in the high ends, also I think the mids suffer a bit with the non analytical pads. The thing these do better than any headphone I've tried yet is imaging, it is very easy to tell what direction something is coming from in video games, but honestly the soundstage isn't wide enough to be immersive. These are what they were designed to be, very technical headphones and don't worry about getting the renewed onese, mine arrived in perfect condition, I just dont' think I can keep them with how harsh those highs are on my ears, maybe if your hearing isn't as sensetive these will just sound clear to you. either way it's a great product from a trusted brand at a great price renewed, just know what you are getting. Oh and the coiled cable is pure magic, I want one with all of my headphones now.

Wow. Pinnacle of headphones in my opinion. I wear these suckers for 14 hours at a time and get no headaches or earaches. The open back design lets me hear my wife yelling at me so I don’t have to hit her with the “huh?” Everytime she asks a question. Core length is perfect in my opinion and the sound quality is unmatched. They feel and sound expensive. Worth the money.

I bought these headphones after owning DT880s and absolutely loving them. The sound quality and comfort make my day...every day. Personally a good pair of headphones pays for itself. While I am working all day, having music be even more pleasurable is such a great experience. They are built to last, so if you take care of them they are a no brainier investment.
