Expedition Scout Men's 40 mm Watch

Brilliant watch and love the blue dial. The indiglo feature is great in low light and the watch is robust and fits on my 6.75 inch wrist perfectly. The second hand does not line up 100% with the markers but for the price this isn't a deal breaker. I changed the strap but only as a style choice...the strap supplied is good but I wanted leather not fabric. Overall great value for a classic military looking watch.

What can I say but simply this is an amazing classic field watch. It's got a bit of heft to it as well its not light, I like that. Very rebust feeling and the Indiglo feature is cool. The leather strap is great and long enough for my 8 inch wrist. It's looks amazing on wrist. I would love a Hamilton but this beauty will do me just fine. I do have a few other Timex Expedition watches but this one is my favourite with its even more classic field watch looks. They are all top class quality watches. Love Timex.

This watch is really good , it ticks nicely , keeps time well , and has a really solid casing. It feels like it's been put together well and doesn't rattle at all. Even the mineral glass on it is alot more scratch resistant than my Swatch irony and my vostok komanderskie ( given that one uses acrylic ). The straps that come with it are comfy , but i prefer to use leather straps on it as it's a classy looking watch and I already own a diver for a sporty look. All this is good ;however, this watch has one thing that maybe a no no to some people . It basically ticks really loud and it can be audible in a quiet room . I live in a dorm and if the watch isn't in a box I can hear it tick , which can get annoying if you're trying to sleep . If you really want the watch for the time keeping and durability , then get it and get yourself a watch box or something that can dampen it's noise at night so you can sleep in peace. For its price , few watches compete with such quality or have a long heritage like Timex does. As a result , if you appreciate watches and want it for yourself or a gift , this is the perfect watch as a daily beater or a friendly gift gesture. UPDATE : I recently bought it NATO straps , and the ticking sound somehow dissapered . It might be the fsbric padding stopping the watch from making loud ticks. So , it's an easy fix it seems.

I love this watch - it has a really good heavy feel to it, and it feels like a much more expensive watch than it is. A decidedly different quality from the retail shop fashion watch I had bought - which cost £25 and lasted 2 months. I was worried this watch would look too large on my wrist (which is very small) but it doesn't; it looks the size of an average mans watch. The face is really clear, the cream colour has real depth, the matt black surround feels really substantial, and the matt black hands and numbers show up really clearly. The calendar lens with the date is quite small - I have to look carefully to see what it says. But the rest of it is so beautiful I will happily put up with that., The night light system is fantastic - I can even work out the time without my glasses on when I cannot see the numbers at all. The leather strap has an oiled leather look to it, and so far has proven to be very substantial, despite having been in the washing up water a few times. The strap is also malleable and very easy to wear. This is definitely not the Timex of my childhood, which had put me off them - I thought - forever. A really good buy, which has been commented on favourably many times,

...this watch is so cheap. I bought this back in May of last year, so less than a year ago. Yesterday, the Indiglo function broke. The switch still works as there's a tiny portion of the watch that still illuminates at the bottom of the dial. I contacted Timex about a warranty repair and was told two to three months to have the work done!! It hardly seems worth it for a feature that I barely use, and one that, due to the oversized crown, I found myself unintentionally activating on frequent occasions. Talking of the crown, it is frustratingly easy to catch on everything from sleeves to bag straps - I wonder if this is the reason that so many reviewers complain that the crown simply broke off after a little while. Other than that, it's an okay watch, the strap stains fairly easily, the case gets scratched pretty easily too, but it looks okay despite this. It's smart and its cheap and I've had compliments about how nice it is, but the overall durability and practicality don't really impress. I don't think I'd go for another.

This watch is great - it's a man's watch which looks rugged and is easy to read night or day. It's not small and it isn't one of them light cheap watches you can get for less. On close inspection the build quality is excellent, the materials are very good quality. The strap feels great, not like the horrible recycled plastic material ones found on some cheaper watch that look like this but are not like this. You pay for the name and they do what they do well. Overall 5 stars - very pleased with this watch.

The watch itself is great. It looks good and the night light (which is what I bought it for) is great. It's really bright and easy to turn on to check the time. The only issue is that after 3 months the light stopped working so to keep now the watch is pointless. I need to be able to tell the time in the dark. This is the second timex watch that has done this to me in less than a year. Amazon has been great and returned both but I think I will look for a different brand.

Relógio bonito, com design limpo e discreto, bom para o dia a dia. A qualidade parece boa e a entrega foi rápida. Para quem está acostumado com smartwatch, ele pode parecer um pouco mais pesado no início, mas nada que incomode. No geral, vale a pena.

Oui, superbe montre( qualité/prix), et système lumineux génial.

Très jolie et fonctionne très bien.
