While the instructions suggest gluing the foam on the cone that faces out, I rather applied the foam underneath, as it made it much easier to glue, and a better seal. I did cut the extra off where it attaches to the frame of the speaker.

I’m not sure if they fit right. Did not even try to install them. The foam diameter is a little to large. Probably just going to ship the speakers out and pay someone to do it right.

I've refoamed 3 sets of speakers and I found this product very difficult to use. The glue sets immediately so there is no wiggle room to adjust the foam on the speaker cone. Furthermore, the foam is too large for the speaker the kit was advertised to fit (Optimus Pro X55AV) so you need to trim the foam to fit inside the speaker rim. The instructions also advise you to glue the foam to the outside of the speaker cone, even though the speaker was designed to have the foam glued underneath the cone. If you perform the repair the way the instructions advise, it probably works well. If you attempt to glue the foam underneath the cone, just like the original foam, you run into problems. The glue sets immediately, so you can't adjust the fit. I tried one speaker, failed miserably, tried the second speaker and failed miserably at that, too. I'm going to have to reorder another refoam kit from another supplier.
