Worked great, saved lots of frustration
I got these to cut some 4/0 cable as cutting anything over 1/0 cable becomes a real hassle with regular cutters. These cutters had no problem cutting the 20 sections of 4/0 cable. They still look sharp and durable after my use.

More than worth it.
Save yourself about $200.00+ and buy THESE cable cutters. They work as good as the others, but for 1/10th the price!

I've had these cutters for 3 years. They work awesome. Better than the $300 pair of clients my boss has

Cutting Jaw(s) Jammed Closed
The Yangoutool Ratchet Cable Wire Cutter has been returned. I am providing them with a "gift-with-return" : a bike lock. The reason is that the allegedly "quick" release lever does not work. The jaws/blades are permanently jammed around the rubbery exterior of the bike lock cable. The only way I was able to remove the bike lock was because I literally twisted the cables (with my bare hands) until the lock portion snapped away from the cable portion ...the rachet cable cutter had nothing to do with this amazing feat. All rachet cable cutters are not created equal. The better ones have a distinct thumb lever on the side of the tool so the user can easily open the cutting jaws. Opening this tool (even before I tried to cut the bike lock), was very tricky since it did not open freely. I noticed that there was chipped paint on this particular tool upon opening so it is possible that it was a damaged/returned item but even if it was, it should still open. The tool is too glitchy and can not be relied on.

Wire cutter
Worked great, used them on 8-4 cord a lot and they are just as sharp as when I bought them, over a year of use already

Awesome set of cable cutters
These are an awesome alternative if you don’t want to spend the big money on a similar set. I’ve been using them almost everyday now for the past few months and have had 0 issues. I mostly use them on 4/0 copper and aluminum cable and these cut through like butter. Just keep the tool greased up and they’ll serve you good. Can’t cut ACSR but I wouldn’t expect that out of a $45 tool. Great value for money

Not good
Latest about 50 cuts then some of the intervals broke not secured enough if you need a quit cut at home giver if your a electrician that uses them fairly often probably not a good choice

Nice Cable Cutter
It gives the result as mentioned in its specifications. Just curious to know from supplier - why it is hard to cut the left over thread / fibers of the cable while all other cable pieces are cut.
