The Ultimate Hidden Picture Puzzle Book (Dover Kids Activity Books)

Very interesting combination of coloring book and puzzle. Kept my 6yo entertained on a plane trip without having to lug a lot of bulk. Very slim book, not many pages. Can be hard to tell if you've found "it" in some of the puzzles -- might frustrate a child who is very particular about having a precise right or wrong answer.

Nine year old will do the entire book at one time if allowed. dose not want to put it down.

Fun for all ages and large enough to use for coloring practice. Lots of details in pictures. However, some items were not distinctive enough. I mean you couldn't tell what some items were. Back cover offers lots of free clip art, coloring pages, and puzzles from Dover Publishing.

Terrific little book, mazes very well designed. So tiny I was disappointed at first (5" square) but easy to slip into a bag or keep in the car. Hard for a 4 yo to bend the pages to keep them open, but she loves it. Does 10 of them at a sitting.

I ordered this for an elderly neighbor who has been in the hospital. She asked for word searches because she's having trouble concentrating, so can't do things that require to much memory. I told her I like to do picture searches. She really wanted some. I could not find them in town. I went home, ordered us both a book, on Monday. Received them on Friday. She loves hers.

Very small pictures

These hidden items are indeed hidden well. It is a challenge for kids to locate what is listed to find. They can color the hidden items or circle them and color the whole picture. They could also color the hidden items one color and the rest of the picture the colors they should be or any other color. Answers in the back.

This one is a challenge for my eyes. I like it....the ones in the Enquire or Globe is too easy lol.

Its a good book. The pages inside are in black & white. Very good for developing sitting tolerance and concentration in kids and especially hyperactive kids.
