Not for a CNC project - No EMI filters
EDITED REVIEW: I tried to use this to power a TinyG controller and Nema23 Stepper Motors for a CNC project. Well it worked good until I turned on my woodworking router. Then the EMI (electrical noise) produced by the Porter Cable Woodworking Router caused the GCode to be corrupted.I purchased a Mean Well brand Power Supply from Amazon and it work perfectly. No more corrupted GCode and Steppers performed flawlessly.Probably will work fine as long as there is no Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) anywhere near the power supply. 110VAC woodworking tools, and probably blenders and such...

I could have easily gotten a number of other
I have been working with DC power and didn’t think to do some simple continuity testing to identify the wiring and polarity, so I threw a circuit breaker and a shower of sparks when I hooked this up and flipped the switch.Firstly:Wire a fuse and a power switch inline with the hot wire coming into this unit! If I hadn’t done that, I might not have survived my own clumsy mistake. I even have another power switch further upstream from the connection to this PS.Secondly:This was my fault and not a fault of this product. I could have easily gotten a number of other, cheaper power supplies but this is near the top of the list of things you don’t want to spend too little on. And for the money, this PS is Fantastic!Thirdly:Quite miraculously, this little unit suffered no damage! Watch YouTube videos on how to wire this up if you don’t know how. After I had rewired this, it came to life and registered 24 Volts!Definitely worth the price. Must buy.

Seems a good value so far. OK after exchanges. Possible minor quality control issues be sure to test as soon as received
Note: ASIN B00ANFJ26U and ASIN B007F7S4P4 appear to be the EXACT same supply! I have bought both so combining the reviews.RE: ASIN B00ANFJ26U...Ordered 3. Two installed and working OK. One had something loose rattling around inside. It sounded like a piece of solder or a loose screw. Since the supplies have tamper seals I did not want to open it to see what it was. I did not want to chance a short in the future so I returned it and ordered another. (Exchange was not an option since out of stock. However, I found the same supply listed under a different ASIN: B007F7S4P4 for about $1 more.)RE: ASIN B007F7S4P4...I ordered one as the replacement. It worked. However, it put out an annoying audible high pitch screech. (I suspect it was due to a slightly loose high frequency transformer core.) I returned for replacement and the replacement is nice and quiet even with medium load.So far I am pleased with this supply but there may be minor quality control issues. Removing 1 star for that reason. Seems to be a GOOD VALUE but be sure to test as soon as received.

Another bad PSU..
This is the 2nd 24v psu i've bought here in 5 months that was a piece of junk. The 1st one at least lasted awhile. This new one on 1st firing it up to heat a printbed, got the bed hot really fast but I noticed the hot elrctronics smell we all dread and the cooling fan did NOT kick on. Come to think of it, my 1st psu , the fan would not run when it obviously should have. I can't send it back as I opened it to troubleshoot it, but to no avail. It now slowly heats up the printbed drawing only 1.5 amps. Worthless.

Returned as soon as I got it.
Returned it as soon as I opened the box that the supply came in. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the package was the noise of something rattling around inside. When I opened the box it came in the next thing I saw was a scortch mark near the voltage adjuster and LED as if there was some sort of short that occurred there. I didn't even try to wire it up in fear of causing more damage to the supply. Also this is not a big deal, but the item in the picture does not look like the item I received.

Cheap Chinese Junk.
This powered my 3D Printer for just a few runs before the power dropped off and it failed to maintain the proper temperature of my extruder. This was a replacement of the OEM part that came with my printer (SP-320-24) which failed in the exact same way. With the higher wattage rating (350 vs. 320 watts) I thought this would be a good upgrade and that it would last a long time but it failed even sooner than the SP-320-24.I am afraid to buy another one, so I am returning this and going with the Mean Well version for $18 more. I am highly disappointed.

A good choice for the purpose
I purchased it to run the heated bed on a 3D printer. Originally the printer had a single 12V power supply and the temperatures fluctuated wildly. I split the load between the two power supplies and the temperatures are rock solid. The bed heats up in less than 2 minutes. It is almost silent. A good choice for the purpose.

Bad QC but decent components
I plan on using this PSU for a 3D printer heated bed. When I got it there was a screw bouncing around inside. I opened the shroud to find that all of the screws holding the board in were entirely loose. While it was open I tightened the screws and took some pictures of the caps and the thermal application to the voltage regulators. To me it seemed like a good amount of paste was there to help cool them. After removing the fan and connecting it to another power supply the results were surprising. The fan pushed a lot of air and was very reasonably quiet. After reassembling I powered it up and checked the voltage finding that it was only a hundredth of a volt off. All in all I believe it was a good purchase with just a couple loose screws.
