Innate Doppio Tumbler - 2012

I have worked as a barista for over 10 years and have had these come through the drink line occasionally. I have always been in love with the size and feel of the cup. I happened upon the innate tumbler while browsing, and am super happy I made the purchase. I have owned a ridiculous amount of tumblers over the years and so far this is my favorite. Its compact size makes it easy to toss in a bag, the lid seals very tight, and the steel is pretty thick keeping liquids warm for longer than most tumblers. The only thing I could say that people would not like, as stated in other reviews the blue is more black which is a non issue for me.

The blue is almost black but not dark enough to be black. Rather than the anodized look in the pictures it seems almost plastic coated. The cup is well insulated but can be to hot to touch if you are brewing tea in the cup (pouring kettle water directly in). The cup arrived in great amazon packing, but out side paint was scuffed all over. I didn't send it back only because my cups take a beating and would looked scuffed in a week anyways. I really dislike the not so blue color though. If I order another it will not be one of the colors offered. All reviewers appear to have issues with the colors for the most part. Great little cup for tea around the office.

TLDR: Great Tumbler. Short enough to fit under the Portafilter Head of my Rocket Classic, and holds a good double shot + a touch of water/milk. Loses one star for not having a spill proof top.Full Review:I had been looking for a travel cup that would fit under the portafilter head of my espresso machine for some time before I found this. Every time that I had to pull a shot into a shot glass and then pour it into my old travel cup that didn't fit under the portafilter it would make me sad to see all that wasted crema.With this tumbler I can pull the shot directly into the cup, and avoid all of that wasted deliciousness, and the volume, 6.5 ounces, is a perfect size for people that like really strong Americano's, or macchiato.My only complaints with this tumbler (one is not really an issue for me but could be for other people) is:1) The lid is not spill proof. There is one hole for venting and one hole for drinking, and no plug/sliding device to seal it shut, so you have to be careful not to knock this bad boy over, or jostle it about too roughly.2) The lid has a pretty significant lip to it that seats into the cup, which limits the usable volume in the cup. This isn't an issue for me as I only put ~4-5 ounces of fluid in it (Double Shot + splash of hot water), but if you were looking to live on the hairy edge of that 6.5 ounces you will most likely be spilling out of the top.

Mixed feelings. Love the size and was excited when I found the cup. However, I'm not too impressed. I hope the following comments help the manufacturer. Sticker on the bottom was annoying to take off, doesn't seem to keep heat in well. Lid is not a refined plastic injected/molded part. It's very light, sounds a bit "cheap" and does not have any rubber/cork bottom to deaden sound when placing it down.

So I bought this looking for the perfect camping or travel coffee cup companion. The keepcup seems a bit flimsy (on screen) and i wanted a travel mug 8 oz or less range. When I use an aeropress camping or traveling and don't have access to a ceramic mug, i need something sturdy and something that has an opening circumference greater than about 2 3/4 inches - the filter size of an aeropress. The opening on this is just about that size and it simply doesn't work for that specific need.The Doppio Tumbler is perfect for pulling a double shot out of a Silvia and I imagine it will fit under any portafilter.Plenty of room to dollop a little foam on, or add a little warmed milk. As others have mentioned, it's not leak proof, it doesn't have any fancy tech in it to keep things warm forever but it's a small so I didn't expect that. Bottom line, if you drink espresso or don't mind decanting your aeropress first then go for it.It is cool to touch b/c of the double wall tech so I guess it has some tech going for it.This tumbler now sit on top of our silvia every night waiting for it's next use.

Nice, solid cup. Great size for espresso on the go. Warm the cup with hot water before using. I use it daily.

I usually add milk and these are the perfect size for me. My only complaint is that there is no way to cover or plug the drink hole which makes them not hold heat well and doesn't prevent spills.

This tumbler is perfect for a double espresso, with room to spare. My only complaint is that there is no way to close/cover the drinking hole on the lid, so a bumpy car ride can make some of the contents spill, and it allows in air which cools off the beverage. I followed the manufacturer's directions and "prewarmed" the tumbler before pouring in my coffee, but it still cools off pretty quickly. Otherwise, it's great. Small, light, and gets the job done.
