The only 80 x 15 mm fan with PWM out there
This is the only 15 mm thick slim 80 mm case fan I could find that's also PWM for better speed control. I needed something like this as it had to fit into a somewhat confined space. It comes with a rubber gasket and anti-vibration mounting hardware that I couildn't use due to those space limitations. I used regular fan screws instead. This fan runs quieter than your typical 80 mm fan, in part due to the fan blade shape, and also because you can run it at low speed thanks to it being PWM. Provides good air flow even though it's only 15 mm thick. The fan shipped directly from Europe, which meant that it took a bit longer than I'd like to get to me in the US. That's really my only complaint. It was also a tad pricey. But if you need 80 x 15 mm in PWM, this fan is your only choice.

Great Fan!
I've been using BlackNoise Noiseblocker BlackSilentPro fansin my rig for the past year and so far I've been happy with their performance. BlackNoise makes a great fan that features great build quality, great performance and very low noise. Compared to brands like Noctua, they perform just as well. Since I already have Noiseblocker fans in my rig, I decided to fill one of the 80mm mounting points in the back of my Corsair Obsidian 250D to increase airflow just a bit more. While this 80mm fan is quiet on low to mid settings (30%-50%), if you crank it up too high it will become noisy. This is just an inherent issue of most small fans. Noiseblocker fans come with great easy-mount hardware with their fans and some accessories such as anti-vibration grommets and short as well as long black braided fan connectors. One thing I would like to note about the mounting hardware that came with this 80mm fan is that the screws BlackNoise included were a bit long being that the fan is quite slim, and the screw heads were rather small. Depending on your situation, you may want to pick up some black washers to prevent the screw from being pulled through your case's mounting points.

Impressive spec sheet, underwhelming performance
This is my second Noiseblocker fan (I tried a smaller size model before) that exhibits the same issue: when run at the nominal speed, i.e. 12V, it moves air with a robust wooshing sound, but when undervolted to 7-8V, for example via an inline resistor, the motor makes a droning sound that completely defeats its purpose as a quiet solution.Perhaps unsurprisingly then, the package does not include any low-noise adapters like those that come with all Noctua and some Zalman fans. The package does include a rather impressive mounting kit with a rubber gasket and long through bolts with rubber washers that work essentially as a vibration absorbing suspension. And the fan needs it, because its vibration is no different from any $5 fan.The blades are made out of some kind of translucent plastic (not FRP, as one would normally expect in a high end fan), and do not have any special geometry. They do seem to have a tighter than average clearance with the frame, which can theoretically help produce a higher static pressure. The bottom line is that the fan is grossly overpriced and really can only be used at the nominal voltage to obtain its claimed benefits. You will likely achieve similar performance from a good quality Delta or Evercool fan at a third of the cost. Too bad, Noctua fans do not cover as wide a range of sizes, but if you see one suitable for your application, just get it instead, and be happy.

Well made and very quiet
I have used Noiseblocker fans before and always been very pleased with them. Bought this one to replace a fan with a bad sleeve bearing in a power supply. It fitted, cooled better than the original and was barely audible. If previous experience any indication it should also last much longer than the original.

Good fan and accessories but annoying fan noise pitch
Fan works fine and comes with good anti vibration hardware. Noise is low but the pitch of the fan is a bit annoying if you get up close to it.

Quiet but weak
The fan is quiet, I'll give it that. But it hardly seems to move any air at all. Had zero effect on the temps in my case - not one single degree. For $25 - the most I've ever spent on a case fan, this is very disappointing.

Very poor noise profile
I purchased this to replace the internal fan for a PSU mounted in a fanless m-ITX case. As the PSU fan provides the only airflow I wanted to reduce the noise output and increase performance as needed by connecting the fan to the motherboard to utilize the Fan Xpert software.I purchased and installed over 20 Noiseblocker fans from the Multiframe and BlackSilentPro series in 80, 120 and 140mm (all 25mm thick). Noiseblockers are by far my favorite fan for performance, looks and most importantly, their outstanding low noise quality undervolted and at full speed. I find the motor noise much more pleasing to my ears than my second favorite, the Noctuas. With my previous Noiseblocker experiences I had high expectations for this fan. I was completely blown away by how awful this 80x15mm variant is.At lower RPMs this fan makes a distinct, clearly audible motor tick combined with a persistent drone. At higher RPMs those characteristics fade a bit, more likely just being drowned out by the high dBA of 2500 rpms worth of air being pushed through the little 80mm frame. The actual thermal performance was very good but that positive attribute is worthless when countered by the god awful noise profile. Factor in the price and this fan is obscene.I couldn't be more disappointed, too bad there is such a niche market for these thin fans and more manufacturers aren't producing quality at this specific size.

Silent until 1700RPM, audible but quiet above that
I bought this to replace the ridiculously loud fan in my Silverstone SX600-G PSU that was rattling away. I needed a slim 80mm fan that was 17mm or below in thickness and this fit the bill.Wired to a PWM fan controller the lowest RPM it could achieve was 900RPM and it's deathly silent until around 1700RPM. Obviously at full pelt its a lot more noticeable but it's perfect for most real world applications

Pc fan
The black silent pro fan is excellent quality, moves a decent amount of air and above all is reasonably cost. You can get quieter but you have to pay a good bit more.

Leiser Luftfluss lauter Motor
