Oman 8000 generator, perfect fit.

I installed this on my Onan QD8000 generator when I changed the oil yesterday. It is the real-deal, Oanan/Cummins filter. If you change your generator oil and filter yourself, I highly recommend adding this to the process. It took me less than 3 minutes to pull out the old one and install the new one. Literally--the toughest part is finding where it is! Mine took one wing nut to remove a plastic housing, exposing a second wingnut that had to be removed, and there sits the filter. No tools required. I make this my regular routine now--changing the air filter every time I change the oil. That's probably overkill, but at a price of less than $20, it's a no brainer.

Concerned because it came in a box that said GVS Filtration in WI. I’ve always received it in a onan green label box. Hopefully it is genuine. It had the same part number and appears to be the same as the one I’m replacing.
