a must have
If you are a fix it kind of person you will need a multimeter. This one does the job and worked well for household and battery currents as well as contunity.

The Pros:Very reasonable price point, This tool has an LED backlight (blue) large display, normal basic features AC/DC, Resistance, and audible continuity as well as the Yellow BumperThe Cons:For some reason my unit worked great the first few times I needed it, but now is functioning out of calibration on DC Current (doubles the voltage “9vdc shows 18vdc”) the test leads are kind of iffy I don’t recommend using it on AC Current without checking the test leads literally right before every test (good House practice on any meter) however, the insulation on the leads is not as puncture resistant, the body is constructed out of a lower density plastic (it will not last too many drops or rough usage)I purchased this unit as a back up to my main unit, all in all it’s OK for the price I gave it three stars

Low Quality Meter
Tried to take a voltage reading and this unit has completely stopped functioning. Now it’s past the return window. Spend your money on something else with at least a year return policy.I do not recommend this meter.

Not Rugged Enough For Me But No Regrets Buying It
This meter will function just fine. It's accurate and easy to use. It certainly was affordable. My ONLY issue is that it feels rather light-weight, in the sense that it's not very rugged. My meter doesn't sit on a work bench.... it travels around in my tool bag and I'm just not sure how long it will hold up being bumped and rubbed. The one feature that concerns me the most is the rotary switch. It just doesn't feel strong and durable... and that switch is EVERYTHING when it comes to this meter. Only time will tell. So far, it works like a champ and I could afford it.
