This company doesn't know how to manufacture this product.
This motor is working so far. But its leaking oil out of the head bolts just like the other motor I bought from the same company through Amazon. I think you people should discontinue dealing with this company. I pray to God that this motor doesn't break down like the other one. I'm scared to tighten the head bolts afraid its going to break down too. If something goes wrong with this motor too I'm never dealing with Amazon ever again. Never! And I say never buy this motor! Its nothing but a rebuilt piece of shit. You'd just as soon flush your money down the toilet. Probably better off too.......

Give it a chance.
Hey guys Ive been building these bikes for around 3 years now. This isnt a bad motor. It would do just fine as a stock starter motor. But since its just the motor I wouldnt recommend it for the first time builder. Unless you already have mechanical experience. This motor in my opinion is perfect if you finally blew up your last one but the majority of the parts are still good. Head, a ported cylinder maybe, you're exhaust and intake/carb etc. Then it's a pretty good platform to rebuild on. If your bike hasnt been motorized yet then go for the SEEUTEK PK80 kit. Best bang for your buck on Amazon at least.

Mount studs broke after 15 miles :(
How is it that at EXACTLY 15 miles on this thing, the mounting studs broke off? I was able to get one out, but the other is permanently embedded in the engine. Do yourself a favor and use hardened steel bolts (the only thing that will hold up) or don't buy this product.

Flawed design or just made poorly.
I was trying to upgrade my motorized bike. I had a 40cc motor and bought this 80cc motor for my bike. Iwaited for the weather to get better because I do not have a garage. Well right after the break in period for the motor the left rear motor mount stud Broke. it started shaking so badly that it loosened my carborater and exaust. The return period exspiered before I got it mounted. I learned two things. First thing is this motor is junk. Second thing is always check product immediately.

Decent motor, could be a lil cheaper.
Motor is decent. I think it could be a little cheaper but thats it. For only a little more you can get a whole kit.

Nice engine
This engine has been running strong since day one. I replaced all of the studs with heavy duty stainless steel studs and replaced the cylinder head with a high performance head.
