Neat short sword for
This one’s pretty nice for the price, good sheath that also allows for a shoulder carry as well as hip carry, looks great, nice and sharp, the balance is nice, light as a feather it seems. The one small drawback is the comfort of the handle in the hand. It grips nice but is kinda thin when you grab onto it and feels like you’re just holding onto a slim crowbar. I remedied this issue by wrapping it in paracord twice (been on a handle wrapping kick if such a thing exists) and now it feels good in the hand and doesn’t impede on any of the function. If, for whatever reason, you find yourself with a need to have a machete or blade in a bugout bag or whatever, highly recommend this. I plan on adding some molle stuff to it as well.

Value for the price
Bought to replace another united cutlery machete I lost, decided to try another style blade. Sword feels very solid in the hand, it's heavy. Sharpness is good for the blade since it is intended to be a machete for me. Center of balance is about a inch from the edge start on handle end. Scabbard is very nice and sturdy. The bad... Handle is not comfortable in my big hands but a easy fix. Blade has a slight bow, about 1cm, about halfway down but for less than $50 I can deal with it, it doesn't affect the use. Very pleased over-all would buy again.

Cool but needs some work to be awesome
Cool sword/big knife. Comes as described looks just like the pictures. The blade is hefty for what it looks like. Blade comes mostly sharp but is ground at a 30+degree angle. There is also some very Minor warping in the blade. So it does not glide through cuts like I imagined from a blade this shape. The handle is narrow but it doesn't feel like it will slip out of my hand. However it does make the impact to your hand harsh. I will try changing the sharpening angle and beefing up the grip with additional Paracord. All in all for the price it's not bad but for an effective and comfortable blade you may have to put in some work. The sheath is nice and has good retention but the shoulder strap is questionable.

Quality, comfort, & maneuverability
As a regular practitioner with various swords, this one is quite durable/sturdy, yet also fairly lightweight enough to whip around with relative ease. The case is everything I hoped it would be...very stylish, sturdy, and fits well with the shoulder strap. I thought the flat handle would be uncomfortable when practicing various techniques, but it actually feels fine. Great craftsmanship for the money.

inexpensive short sword
The Wakizashi arrived quickly and in good condition. It appears to be well made (as advertised). The sheath is ample for its use. It arrived very sharp, with a thick/heavy blade/tang. It is a little heavy but should cut well. The only lack I found was that the "para-cord" handle is a little thin, making the handle harder to grip properly. A simple wood handle can correct this and make it much more functional. For it's price I feel it is well made and sturdy.

This blade
I love everything about this. It's slick and smooth, sharp, light in weight and a firm grip. I paid well for it.

Bent blade (slightly, not straight) Stamped metal (not forged)
This sword is SO close to being awesome - the weight, ergonomics, length and design are ideal for actual use. The problem is that it is not forged - it's a stamped piece of sharpened sheet metal. But you get what you pay for. The blade curves slightly to the right. It's hard to visually detect, but if you press the blade portion against a flat surface you can see it. I don't know if this affects the functionality of it too much - I suppose under competition cutting conditions it might. I put a paracord wrap on the handle and it feels great. Nice balance, the hilt is a good length, and the butt is rounded which allows some versatility in using different grips. The finger choil is an interesting choice, it might create a weak spot in terms of lateral strength, but for survival purposes it might come in handy if you're processing wood. For tactical purposes the front "guard" protrusion between the blade and the hilt is nice to keep your hand from slipping forward, although I wish it stuck out just a tad more, and was swept back a little. If they made a forged version of this that was straight, and properly heat treated quality steel, I would gladly pay $150 for this. This might be a 4 star review if not for the blade being bent.

Nice
I already slayed three dragons with this thing. Seriously, it's very sharp and not a toy. Heavy steel made and easy to wield. Good stuff.
