Sturdy, but longer than expected
While the product is very sturdy and comfortable for what it's made of it is longert han expected. Other pants in the same size are good, but this one is a good 2-3inches longer than those even though it's the same size metrics.I'm keeping them because i'll just roll them up and hope they shrink a little, but otherwise for others maybe order the length a little shorter than your usual size

Best pants off Amazon
6’0160lbs34x34 jeansThese are naturally baggy so you don’t need to size up too much. I’m usually a 32x34 but got a 34 in the waist just in case and it fits perfect.

You CANNOT Find Better. Most durable and rugged work pants around. Read Below.
I use these in all my work, everything from metal fabrication, Landscaping, welding, cutting trail in thick woods and riding ATV's . I've tried wr@ngler riggs, dickies, regular carharrt, tried them all ... these Double Front Duck are the only one that will hold up to the beatings and NOT get holes in the knees and everywhere else. The only one precaution is that they are not the greatest for the hottest month of the year. Here in PA, July and August heat is a bit much for these. Also, whatever size you are, you might wana get one size bigger. I'm 5'9" , 185 lb , athletic build, not chubby and 40:30 are perfect for working in. I wear 38:30 but they are too snug in these Duck Double Front pants. The material is very stiff, like sneaker canvas . These are about twice as rugged and durable as regular carharrt ...and far more durable than Dickies carpenter or wrangler... but those kind are a little better during the hottest 2 months of the year as they are thinner . Lastly, if you wear a thin, lighweight, nylon/spandex baselayer under these you are easily good to around -10F if working or walking .

A little baggier and longer than expected, but love them after modifications
The waist was so tight that I thought I'd have to send them back. I am 99% of the time a 34 waist, and these hurt at first to button. They have broken in though and now are even a little loose. The legs were far wider than I thought or what they appeared in the picture. Maybe it's just because I'm shorter with a wider waist than some. But I had to take them in, then take them in *again* just so they wouldn't look like clown pants. They are still plenty loose in the legs (I wasn't going for a skinny look or any, just didn't want to look like I was wearing JNCOs).I also don't know why so many brands only go down to a 30" inseam, and even then, seem much longer. I'm 5'8”/5'9" (somewhere in between). So, pretty average height for an American man (according to google) with non-stubby legs. And I had to roll these things up like 3-4 times to keep them from bunching up. I wound up taking them up with a sewing machine as well.I guess a lot of men who want this particular style may not mind how super baggy and bunched up these things look out of the box. So I didn't want to crap on them, just because they weren't to my taste (hence the 4 star review). I love how rugged they are and how they look, after some modifications. I actually have worn them every day since. I just wish pants manufacturers would take into account that not everyone is 6' tall nor wants 5" extra length, bunching up, and maybe produced some shorter length pants for average folks. But honestly, besides all of that they are now my favorite daily drivers.

These seem to be true to size in the waist, contrary to what others have been saying
Don't listen to the naysayers, these run true to size. Not unlike the B11 models, of which I own a pair in moss, these actually run true to size. And I suspect that's the case with most of their outsourced pants. I own a pair of the b01s for reference, the USA made "firm" variant of the double knees, and while they're great, they actually run small in the waist. Because of this unique trait, you actually have to buy them in your natural waist size, for me this was 2 sizes up from my regular pant size (32 waist --> 34 waist). However, with this model, I ordered them in black in a 33 just to be safe, and to my surprise, they actually fit looser than the b01s I ordered in a size 34. So, based on my experience, you should order these in your regular pant size, if I had ordered these in a size 32 waist like I do with blue jeans, they would have been perfect, just as my b11 dungaree pants fit (those are a size 32 as well). I have a sneaking suspicion that the foreign manufacturers do a better job at matching vanity sizing than the U.S. sizing does. KEEP THIS IN MIND: if you are a thinner guy (I'm 5'11" 150 lbs) and you're thinking about sizing up from your blue jean size because you've heard about these running small in the waist like the b01s, don't do it. These mirror traditional vanity sizing. The mexican made ones tend to be very true to size (which is good!). Quality is outstanding, they drape a bit better and they're not as boxy, these are gonna do well for general yard work that doesn't require heavier than hell, tough as nails work pants like the b01s. They're super loose in both the legs and the waist (partially my fault) but they're also a loose fit cut, so keep that in mind.. I'm gonna intentionally shrink them in the wash to get them to fit better in the waist and seat, but right now, with a belt they fit fine, just a bit loose, haven't noticed any difference in length between these and my other pairs of carhartt pants either, maybe go a size down in length if you don't want them to flare out over top of your shoes or your boots. Go true to size in the waist, you won't regret it.

Still the good ole’ Carhartts!!
Please transfer the original car hurts like I’ve always worn I try to pair that was pre-washed or whatever you call it broken or something and they were not the original cards. They were junk. Sent them back got the original ones praying that they were going to be the same ones as I’ve always wore and they are taking before washing to get them to even break in a little bit but there’s a good old Carhart and they’re tough as nails, beware of the pre-washed ones

Tough all cotton work trousers
I've been a fan of carhaarrt work trousers for years. They are tough & durable - and age well.Being 100% natural fibre they don't overheat you in warmer weather as does polycotton etc work wear.

Fantastic work pants.
I love these trousers. I wish I could still buy them.

durable
Double front means these last longer than Wranglers used to for husband's work jeans. Seem stiff and heavy, but he doesn't mind, and they relax somewhat with washing.

The quality is very poor now.
Though the pants are the same original style they are less than 1/2 the thickness of my older pairs. I have used these carhart work pants for many years as a carpenter. This quality down grade is an extremely poor statement about the company. I have used carhart work pants for many years as a carpenter and they were good till now.
