Charge It Up ONCE a Year!
The most ridiculously long-life auto feeder you’ll ever need!! We’ve had this feeder for about two years now because after many years of two married ADHDers asking every night, “did you feed the fish today?” And neither of us being able to confidently answer that question more often than not, we decided we needed a fish-feeding assistant that was more reliable than ourselves… Pros: The battery life on one charge can last upwards of ONE YEAR. I have literally charged it twice. Once when we bought it and once some time however many months ago…it’s still fully charged. It feeds the fish every day at the same time. You don’t have to worry that you’ve starved the fish… Cons: the attachment point isn’t the most sturdy thing? But it holds - just don’t over-tighten. You do have to remember to refill the feeder - but it’s way easier to notice that than remember if you fed them today…wait did I?? Overall??? AMAZEBALLS!! Highly recommend for my fellow frequent-traveling, ADHD, parents of young toddler commandants. God speed and happy feeding.

Definitely the BEST fish feeder
I bought one of these to feed my baby angelfish while I traveled for a week over the holidays. I found it to be easy to set up and install, and am amazed at how QUIET it is! It's so quiet that I found myself staring at it at the appointed feed times just to make sure it really was working...sure enough it's been 100% reliable. The instructions are not great but it's easy enough to figure out how to set it up. I came home from my week of travel to find my angels fat and happy...it's cute how they all hang out underneath it waiting for the food to magically appear. You probably can not have a glass lid on your tank if you want to use this product. I'm always concerned about my fish jumping out so I got around this by using a sheet of plastic egg-crate (ceiling grid) from Lowes, cutting it to the size of the tank, and cutting out a rectangle for the feeder...worked perfectly. Since my juvenile angels need to eat several times a day I have left the feeder on the tank even though I'm not currently traveling. I think the consistent feed times and food amounts have really contributed to their growth. I love this feeder so much I just bought a second one for another tank of juvie angelfish. I crush up a combination of blackworm flakes and brine shrimp flakes, fill up the feeder, set it and forget it...easy peasy. Also, I love that it is rechargeable. The first one I bought back in December has only been charged once..now it is mid-February and the battery display shows that the battery is still 3/4 full! This product is WAY better than the Eheim model. You can't go wrong with this feeder.

Opening Size & Food Dose May Need Adjusted
This let out too much pellet food per turn for our betta, but we were able to fix this by experimenting and using electrical tape to reduce the size of the opening. Once that problem was solved, it has worked like a charm. Very reliable, lifesaver for being able to go out of town without a fish sitter.

Easy set up, and good product, but takes patience to dial it in…
Easy to set up. Kind of hard to get dialed in with flake food, even when reduced to smaller pieces. The unit works as described: Set the time, set the schedules, and how many passes you want (up to 3). It’s basically worry free for the most part, but can be a little tricky to get it dialed in… but once have it figured out, you’re good to go.

Functional and easy to use
I have 1 betta fish to feed while I’m out of town for a weekend. The automatic feeder is easy to use, specify to your feeding schedule, and functional. It’s taken me a week or so to figure out exactly how much food to put inside so that when it rotates he gets the right amount of pellets and isn’t overfed. I haven’t filled it to full capacity since I just have 1 fish in a 5 gallon tank. I’m sure this would work for a 15 gallon tank or possibly even bigger with several fish. It holds a lot of food- enough for the entire canister but I ration it so he isn’t overfed and too much doesn’t spill out. It’s pretty quiet but I’ve grown to recognize the sound of it turning and dropping food so I can check how much was released (if I’m home). It’s also great for me because I’m single and live alone, so if I work overtime or go out with friends after work, I don’t have to worry about feeding my little guy.

Perfect Solution for Vacation!
I've had this for several months now. It has worked every time. I have 3 goldfish in a container pond on my patio in Florida, and it has kept them fed for up to three weeks. The battery has never been fully drained, even with that much use, but I do charge it before use just to ensure a full charge. I did have to cobble together a protective shield to keep rain off of it. It's pretty easy to program , but the directions are not that helpful. There's plenty of food capacity for my fish - I use pellets so the humidity won't affect the food.

Unreliable, died after less than 30 days
Product only partially rotates after less than 30 days which means it's not dropping any food. I was on vacation and came home to a full feeder and very hungry fish. Replacement option is not working due being 32 days since purchase.

Reasonable product-horrible instructions!
Once you figure out how to charge and operate this fish feeder, it does a good job at what it is supposed to do. Unfortunately, the instructions are terrible. Although easy to figure out, there is no mention of how to charge the feeder. The worst is that there is absolutely no explanation of how it works! I almost broke it trying to separate the plastic pieces until I realized it rotated in a circle and you had to slide the small "door" open to allow food to fall out. Because of water that splashes due to water return from my filter, some moisture gets inside the feeder and dissolves some of the food. In addition, the clamp to hold to the side of the tank does not give a lot of flexibility and I had to improvise, clamp it to a piece of wood and attach that to the tank. Once I sorted all of that out, it seems to be working well. My other criticism is that (in part due to the moisture that gets in) it is a challenge to estimate how much the "door" needs to be open to regulate the amount of food per feeding. Be aware that you are not able to set a specific time when feedings occur (only the interval)-or, if you can, it is not explained in the instructions.

Good product
I bought two units for my two fish tanks (30 litres with about 25 danios in each tank). I connected the feeders to the power socket (not sure what is battery life per charge). The feeders kept my fishes alive for a month in my absence.

Great product!
Pellets are best. Since it hangs over "open water" flakes may get damp and clump and not come out. Other than that works great, custom scheduling, chargeable battery (usb) lasts a long time. Super quiet operation. Great product!

Excellent feeder
This one for no doubt is a reliable feeder, easy to program and robust. It accidentally fell into water, I had to dry it well, charge it and it works well. As part of cleaning this I checked the internal construction when I opened and found it is made to last. Good work guys
