Fantastic
I HIGHLY recommend this series and author. It's simple smut on its face, but really blossoms into an interesting and exciting exploration on societal standards.

Being Scientific and Smut
I found the scientific approach explaining monster girl’s biology and customs interesting and main character to be better than your typical Japanese protagonist. He knows what he wants (a harem) and have a good head on his shoulder. It felt refreshing that MC had to restrict himself due a taboo of no gunpowder, steam power, electricity, and internal combustion. And there’s no magic in this world, so MC is not OP or have a cheat skill.I think a downside/nitpick is that it can be text heavy in some spots. The MC really likes to explain his discovery and observation. I can think some people wouldn’t pick this up or drop this book because it was too science heavy.A bonus is that the MC gets to bone monster girls. Huzzah! It’s not an outright hentai because it doesn’t show genitals. Despite the mature rating and explicit content warning, the sex scenes caught me off guard. I really didn't expect it.Overall, it is a fine book for monster girl fans. This is definitely for people who felt unsatisfied from Monster Musume with all the sexual tension and ecchiness from there and Kimihito being a puritan. I like the modern person transported into a realistic fantasy world (without the magic).

This is fairly explicit in it's sex scenes - definitely X-Rated
SPOILERS included...This first book was good in it's introduction of the main character but you have to be warned about a book that opens with two characters in this (our) world discussing: "I wanna &*$% a centaur, how do I do that?" "Toss a girl with a blanket onto a pony and _____ the pony." Little rough with no real introduction or story yet. (Yet still funny.)Once the story gets going, the biological attempt at science is very interesting and SEEMS somewhat plausible. There are a few real conflicts and the MC is not superman (college graduate yes.) That some of the secondary characters break social boundaries for unknown reasons bothered me a bit, but overall there is a real story here interspersed with a lot of human-monster sex. This is not for everyone. In fact to most people I say it's not for you. Is it good? Yes. Is it for mainstream readers. No, in no way. If you like reading about the physics of foreign biology and the isekai genre, this could be for you.

Surprisingly good and smart
This feels like somone decided to dissect the Monster Girl genre, then just took that literally. It's weirdly facinating to see these creatures get even a rudimentary biological explanation on how these things could exist. Plus unlike say Terraformars, which claims to know it's science then spits in your face and calls you a nerd, there's enough actual biology here that it makes some sense. Add in the semi-isekai nature, meaning eons of evolutionary seperation plus different circumstances and it gets almost believeableThe characters are also pretty entertaining. Daisuke is energetic and curious, and while his initial (and overall) goal is just to nab beautiful creature girls he never comes off as too mean spirited or single minded or stupid. All around him are surprisingly fleshed out too aside from maybe the Harpy, but I suspect we will get more on herArt is great, richly detailed and especially during the science-y segments it really comes aliveAs an ecchi type manga I'm not sure it works, there's nudity but little actual intercourse. But hey that could be a positive depending on your view, it is in mine.Overall a weirdly good sleeper hit that I hope people will try. Come on folks another MonGirl or Isekai won't kill us.......2 or 3 might but not the point

Oddly refreshing
When it comes to harem manga or manga in general, it seems that every romantic interaction between characters never leads anywhere. It's shipping for the sake of shipping, which isn't bad by itself, some people love cute shipping stories. The problem, for me, comes when that's all the story has to offer. So rarely do main characters get to have their 'moment alone' with each other. The 'ecchi' moments get old and I lose interest. This book is beyond refreshing in that respect. The main character gets to have some fun with the girls he meets and it doesn't take ten volumes to get there. At the same time, these sexual interactions feel oddly earned despite their frequency. The main character is no pushover, and proves that he is deserving of these moments of intimacy through acts of heroism or displays of intellect. He's not an overpowered demigod, nor is he a complete fool (unlike many other manga of the genre). He understands his limitations as a normal human and does the best he can to protect the ones he loves. Likable main character, decent plot, semi-believable monster girl biology. I already pre-ordered the next volume.

Daisuke you lucky guy
For a fan series I like this, it's nerdy and shows how someone would act when they are really into a subject. The story is funny and provides a good laugh. I do love how Daisuke just nerds out when he sees his first monster girl and just asks if he can examine her. I'm still trying to figure out how a biology student knows about bows and crossbows to make a machine gun crossbow. I also find it funny that he openly tells everyone that he wants to be king of a monster girl harem.

Fun so far
fun story, you follow Daisuke a young man who wants to be a creature girl harem king, the first creature girl he saves is a Arachne, (spider girl) and the way he examines her scientifically is funny, and the way he helps the village out with is a great story, but the word r ape does pop up now and again

Number of good aspects, slightly weak plot.
This manga is good if you like isekai, monstergirls, eromanga, and being incredibly overpowered ala Tanya the Evil. The manga has the main character examine the monsters he encounters at-length and give detailed (and dirty) descriptions similar to Dungeon Meshi, and for once you see a protag succeed in the sack without being too clumsy. The development of the plot, subcultures, and everything else makes a lot of sense so far in volume one and it immediately nails my monstergirl preference leaving me wanting for the second volume. The only issue is it's an Isekai, and that's a REAL hard genre to get right with. It's incredibly common now so it always makes me wary of where the books can or will go.

Hentai monster girl science
I recommend this manga series, but only to hardcore fans of monster girls. There is a lot of explicit stuff in here, having some pure hentai scenes (with a bit of censoring), so beware. The story is just ok, an excuse for the protagonist to go get a harem. There are some good ideas, but poorly executed. The strong point of this manga is the deep dissection of the monster girls origins and science, a thing that hasn't been done before, and although is nowhere near perfect, it's an interesting change of pace compared to other mangas of this same genre, like Monster Musume (pure harem) or Interspecies Reviewers (sex reviews).
