Fresh product.
Product was very fresh when it arrived. The only problem is that these pellet-berries tend to get quite crumbly. So if your bird doesn't eat them over a bowel or dish, a lot will be lost to the bottom of cage or to the floor. I noticed it early on with previous conainer. So I started to put a tray under the perch where he eats. He takes a pellet-berry out of the food dish and holds it iwith his foot while eating it. After capturing the fallen pieces, I realized that MORE than half crumbled to the floor creating a lot of waste. The manufacturer recommended capturing it, and as long as it is clean, then sprinkle it over other food like fruit, unless the birdy will eat the crumbles out of a dish. Good suggestion, but if you bird won't eat the crumbles then there will be a lot of waste. I decided that I don't recommend them as a replacement for pellets. For us, I don't feel they are healthy enough as a replacement - I think as a treat a couple times a week, ok.

3 stars only cause my conures don't care for it
I'm not sure what kind of review to put for these because I have a green cheek and a sun conure and neither one of them will touch this pellet berries. I was really hopeful they would because I just got the green cheek and she's only 3 months old and the person I got her from had her on seed diet only. So I was hoping this would be a way to change her over to pellets, or even use these instead of pellets. No such luck. They just don't care for them, they don't touch them in ball form, the baby actually picks them out of her bowl and throws them on the bottom of her cage 😒and I tried crumbling them to pieces and they knit pick at it. So I'm giving 3 stars only because my birds don't like it, not because it's a bad product.Just so you get an idea of Thor diet; round pellet balls, a little bit of foraging mix with seeds, whatever we have for dinner(beef, chicken and pork), rice, fruit pellets, peanut butter and yogurt. Amongst other odds and ends.

and I was happy to see the price was about 80 cents cheaper ...
These pellets are a large source of my cockatiel's diet, and I was happy to see the price was about 80 cents cheaper than the local bird store I typically buy from. The delivery was right on time, but the buckets are so fragile that one of them busted open. I was able to salvage most of it, but it was a mess. It would be convenient if the tubs came in the size of the nutriberries.

My birds like this; I like the way they smell after ...
My birds like this; I like the way they smell after they eat it, like they just ate a maple cookie or something.. This is their staple diet, they do waste a bit of the pellets, but they eat most of it.. they tear it up and find the few seeds that are in there first, and cry for more when there's a lot of pellets left..

Delicious and nutritious!!!
My birds love this food...They literally come running to me when they see me get it out of the cabinet to feed them! And best of all, my vet says it's very good for them, which is the most important point of all! They do make quite a mess with it, though, and much of it winds up on the floor, which can be somewhat discouraging, considering how expensive it is! But, that's okay...They love it and it's a healthy element in their diet!

Less stars because of the price, not because I don't think it's good, sorry.
My birdies seem to like it a lot. I'm not liking the doubling of the price.... I'm sorry to give it less stars, but when I got it it was around 10 bucks, when I wanted to buy it again, a few weeks later, it was around 20 bucks.

Good Cockatiel Food
My cockatiel loves this food. I had him on a nutri berry diet before this. I have always heard that pellet based diets are better for your bird and when I saw Lafeber's had a pellet based food I had to try it. It's smells really good and easily attracts my cockatiel. Also it's full of fruits and vitamin that are essential for you bird. It's also in the same forage friendly design that nutri berries are, so that's a plus. Overall between the great price and even better benifits for my beloved cockatiel, I have to say that this is a superb product. I would highly recommend this for any cockatiel owners.

Great nutrition treat
My Cockatiels and Sun Conure loves it. My last few times I ordered the pellet-berries were mostly in crumbs! I have started back to getting the Avi-Cakes. Basically the same thing and less expensive.

Would not recommend for any bird owner
Recently revived a letter from the company with a recall for this product because of a mold concern thankfully my cockatiel wasn't really interested in these. Would not recommend for any bird owner !
