Thats Not My Mermaid Board book – March 7, 2019

Everybody always tells you that the books are sturdy, babies and toddlers love them, and they're great - which is all true - but nobody tells you what's important (in my opinion): what are the touchy-feely parts? I'm here to help you out, in case you're thinking of adding this book to your "That's not my..." collection. This book has: fluffy hair, bobbly crown (bumpy material), scaly tail, bumpy hair clip, squashy necklace, and shiny mirror (those of you who've read my other reviews know that the use of 'shiny' as a texture drives me nuts, but oh well!). The illustrations are really cute and I think this is a great addition to the "That's not my..." series.

We love all of the “that’s not my” books and this one is adorable too! Bought for 1 year old birthday.Great for babies and toddlers love to touch over and over.

That's not my books are all really cute. We have 3. Unicorn, mermaid and duck. I love this one because it has a little mirror at the end. Baby loves looking at herself and playing peek a boo. I would buy this for a gift.

The first "That's Not My ..." board book my 9 month old grandbaby had was "That's Not My Puppy." She loves the tactile experience with any of these books and learned quickly what and where to touch each book. At Christmas, her parents bought "That's Not My Snowman," which she loved equally as well. This one will be given to her on her first birthday and, I'm sure, it will be read over and over. We keep a basket of books that she can crawl to and pick out. These books are her favorites.

Just gave this and another similar book to my 9 mos old granddaughter. She loves touching the textures and turning the pages. She particularly likes to each for the book when she is on my lap and I am reading her a different book. Just like her mother she likes choosing her own path.

Very cute book, fun touchy bits. This one has more shiny-look-at rather than touch parts, but still great for older babies. I liked that it also included a black mermaid.

I've worked in a book store for a number of years and have a 2 year old child. This is the brand of Touch and Feel books I would recommend over any other. They are the most durable, best illustrated, and have a decent number of pages. We have "Kitten" and "Fairy" and I bought this "Mermaid" one for my niece. I have looked through them all at the store I work at, they are wonderful.

All of these "That's not my..." books are the cutest and best little feely books we've found for our daughter. She started feeling them as a super little baby and still enjoys them at almost 2 years old.
