The kettle looks beautiful! And it whistles loudly! And the lid fits snugly and the handle is comfortable and doesn't get too hot. The lever to open the spout stays open until you push it closed -- I like that, too!

I like this product a lot. Good price, made pretty well, fairly good size too. My only issue is that the handle is stationary. My old, smaller teapot had a handle that swiveled to one side or the other so that the hole for filling was fully accessible. This one is not quite as convenient when accessing the cover and fill opening. It's a small gripe...I can fill it without any real hassle and it performs as advertised. I would give it 5 stars for a handle that moves out of the way of the cover and fill opening though...

This is the best looking tea kettle of this kind I have owned in my 58 years of marriage and it is also the nicest design.

The product description for this kettle incorrectly advises that it's suitable for induction stoves. I don't know whether there's a brand of induction stove somewhere that this kettle will work with, but it definitely does NOT work with GE Profile.The look of the kettle is great! The capacity is great! It's a plus that the handle is ergonomic and that the whistle-cover can be propped to stay open. But it's unusable - so one star.

I used to get hot water from my Kruig, and now use this teapot. I love the look, it matches my stainless refridgerator and black stovetop, I leave it out because it looks sleek and fashionable. I don't forget and have the water cool off, thanks to the whistle ;-) The spout opens easily and t pours nicely. Great buy.

A great value, heats quickly, a little flimsy as far as what the picture shows, and the actual product. Definitely does the trick.. I’d definitely recommend.

I love the way this kettle looks. It goes well with my kitchen appliances. Also, On most whistling kettle the whistle is ear piercing. This one is very easy on the ears. However, as I filled the kettle up with water the very first time, I opened the spout and the upper part of the whistle just fell off the kettle. I was able to put it back, but it happened again as I was pouring boiling water into a cup. This could have been very dangerous. Although I love the look of this kettle I was very disappointed especially since it was the first time I used the kettle. I later found two screws rattling inside the kettle that was partOf the lid. I ended up throwing it out. Too dangerous!
