eufy Security, Entry Sensor, Detects Opened and Closed Doors or Windows, Sends Alerts, Triggers Siren, 2-Year Battery Life, Indoor-use Only, Requires HomeBase S280 or HomeBase S380

I have already purchased one of these and was apprehensive the first time that I had to install and configure it on a Homebase 2 Hub...but it was simple and has worked reliably ever since, even after I upgraded to a S380 Homebase 3 Hub. I have now bought another sensor to use within the same installation and it installed even quicker using the EUFY security app on an Android handset and is simple to label and to select a sound, if required. Now I intend to forget about it because it works without fault and battery seems to last forever. To be honest...an excellent item, reasonably priced, well constructed and RELIABLE. Not often that I can say that about technology. Buy with confidence. Arrived next day too with Prime. Many thanks EUFY. (FYI...ensure that Homebase and ethernet hub are located in a ventilated area and cannot overheat as this will cause problems with remote access to storage. It says it in the instructions too. Thought I'd mention it...always learning.)

They work well with a eufy Homebase 3 and the App. Really really really wish an Alexa routine would work to allow a notification on my numerous Amazon Alexa devices. Assuming that it doesn’t work because Amazon restricts it just to Amazon affiliates? Regardless - it’s the little things that make or break something. Ring devices can utilise an Alexa routine so it’s got to be deliberate. Not eufys fault but something to be aware of.

I bought 3 of them to use it for my front door, patio and a window. Works with magnetic technology, innovative thought. Very easy to install and connects to existing Homebase 3.(I think it works with Homebase 2 as well). Whenever the door is opened or closed I get instant alerts on my mobile app. Battery still shows 100% even after using for 2months continuously.It would be good to get to get alerts if the door is not locked.

Very easy to install, hasn’t fallen off yet with change in temperatures. Works well and gives peace of mind at night. Someone could unplug the eufy speaker unit very easily during a break in if they knew where it was so it’s not as robust as hardwired systems. Does to job if you’re protecting against chancers and want some peace of mind.
