Glad I bought this painting board. I do watercolour painting and it’s great to have the angle when applying washes. Easy to remove the support and use it flat. The lip is great to hold paper in place. I use it to stretch my paper using gummed tape, and then while still gummed down I paint on it when dry. The gummed tape is easy to remove afterwards as the wood is nice and smooth. Really useful artists aid and good price. Also very study.

Good for people with bad necks and who do alot of writing.

I received this today after an osteopath recommended me to use one as I have had problems with neck and back strain. It stops you from hunching over paperwork on a flat desk. I have used it a short time and it does relieve my neck strain so I am pleased I have purchased this and I think it will help my posture working at my desk. It seams quite well made and as a piece of Perspex it should last pretty well.

This is expensive for what it is but I use it a lot. I place it between my keyboard and computer screen and rest paperwork on it, for referring to while typing. I also sometimes pull it towards me and rest the keyboard on it when making simple entries or using the keyboard to navigate web pages. Because it's clear, it doesn't look or feel as if it is cluttering the desk. I also place a desk calendar under it, which I can read through the stand. Occasionally I also use it as a sloping surface to write or draw on. It's light so can easily be moved off the desk if I'm not using it. Having the sloping surface and using it as above has really helped my posture, because I am sitting up straighter (which is why I bought it).

I got this to improve my son's handwriting as he has poor wrist stability. Within a week his wrist, while using the board, has come down and his writing has improved. The board is nonslip, lightweight and has a holder for a pencil to rest on. I would highly recommend it.

‘Nice’ product except for the cheap plastic strip along the bottom that came off after a couple of uses! A thin strip of wood possibly screwed on from underneath would have finished it off nicely. Not worth £20....

Edit as we received a replacement slope after I informed the seller about the issue: We're super happy now with the product and the service! We really like the writing slope as such, it's nicely done, and we would be absolutely happy with the purchase if the silicone strip at the bottom (to prevent paper from sliding down) hadn't starting going off the first time our son used it. He did not pull or do anything inappropriate (I was sitting next to him!), the used glue is just not good enough. So while the board itself is very well done, we find it really annoying that the one thing that should hold a sheet of paper in place has gone off so easily. Disappointing, especially for the price of it.

Bought it for my dad! He loves it! Great for reading your books without hurting your back or/and neck. Very sturdy as well.
