PRO 2GO High Protein Gooey Bar Box, Salted Caramel 60 g, Pack of 12

I tried these bars when they first came out and was hooked after the first bite - however they seem to be a lot more dense now and not really gooey at all, they have more of a chewy chalky texture. I don't know if they've changed the recipe but after this box sad to say I won't be buying them again.

I've only tried three so far and they are soooo good that you almost forget you're eating protein bars! They have a soft and gooey texture, which melts in your mouth (great replacement for chocolate when you feel the need for some extra energy!). The great thing about them is that you won't feel guilty after finishing one since it's only a bit over 200 calories, so it's a win-win: your taste buds are happy and your stomach feels good as well! I also liked the idea of having some caramel filling, which adds the extra kick in the taste. The package says it has 20g of protein and only 2g of sugar, which is definitely a healthy option when your energy levels feel low. I like running longer distances (10km or so) and I think 1 bar is a good, light snack before you start, I would definitely recommend them!

These bars contain glycerol and, in the absence of any further information to the contrary, such as a statement on the pack, I can only surmise that the glycerol comes from animal sources and these are not suitable for vegetarians. I am trying to obtain further information and will update if I establish these are suitable for vegetarians or definitely not. My partner therefore rose to the challenge of being taster (I am vegetarian) and found them to be very good, filling and tasty and much better than many alternatives.They have a high fibre content and are satiating so we will get them again in the future, even if they are not something that I can eat, sadly.

I love this protein bar! I usually eat Grenade Carb Killa bars or these!Pro2Go gooey are just as described - chewy and gooey! I really enjoy these for a quick grab-and-go breakfast when I'm in a rush, or as a nice back-up when travelling. I've tried all the flavours except for the Coconut ones, and my favourites are the Peanut and Milk Chocolate and the Blueberry Muffin options.The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that I only received 11 bars instead of the stated 12 in the description. So I may choose a different seller next time despite the great price offered by Amazon.

These are really lovely and tasty and was good value for money only paying £20 but they have now increased in price by £6 so sadly I won’t be buying anymoreI’m sure it’s everywhere but can’t justify paying £26 that’s £2.17 a bar

I’m a marathon and ultra runner and cyclist. I get hungry, a lot! I also don’t have a sweet tooth so wouldn’t normally go for something like this. I can’t remember how I got my hands on one of these - maybe a freebie after an event... they are delicious and so easy to eat and digest. They can be nibbled on during long activities without sitting horribly in your tummy. They aren’t too gooey or have too much chocolate. They taste like subtle peanut butter. Lovely!

We like these so much we have purchased them several times.I've tried a few of the flavours and these are definitely the best.The bars are very big and yet only just over 200 calories per bar. The chocolate and the filling are really pleasant. Not at all dry or cloying. Rather like a Mars bar with a little strip of salted caramel through the centre rather than on top.The caramel could be bigger to be honest but I like them anywayThey are often on special offer too!Good value and highly recommended
