Works great on old lace - use care when removing from water
I searched online for a product to clean my grandmother's wedding veil that got spray tan on it. The veil has been used by 10 brides and is a family treasure. Every website I found highly recommended this product and also provided helpful hints on how to wash an antique piece. I followed the directions to the letter and I was not disappointed. My nana would be proud of how her veil looks 96 years later. I definitely would use again.

Good results, too expensive
Works great but WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Thought the package was larger. My fault for not noticing. It comes in a packet.

It is great for soaking vintage quilts as most folks smoked "back in the day"
I liked the product and recommend it.

It Works
I was so afraid to wash my new quilt that I made without prewashing the fabrics which were Red, White and Blue. So many dark colors mixed between white. My sewing teacher recommended this product. I believe this product is made without whiteners, brighteners and color optimizers which is what you want for your quilts. I will tell you that I also placed a handful of color catchers in the wash just to be extra safe. I washed this at the laundry mat on a regular cycle (so I could use cold water) with this product and color catchers and it came out great! I'd be afraid not to use this product on my quilts.

Removed stains from fragile vintage christening gown
My grandson was supposed to wear my 65-year-old silk-and-batiste gown to his christening. We took it out of the box and it had turned totally brown. It was awful. Someone on a vintage fabric website suggested Orvus. I followed the directions, and sure enough, it removed most of the brown discoloration without harming the fabric. I'm glad I bought it!

1ounce? Seriously?
Seriously! 1 oz totally ridiculous for the price and no where does it say how much you are getting!!!

You may be able to wash one quilt, depending on size. No bargain.
One quilt wash? Really? Thought this was a substantial product--not worth the cost.
