Also when closed when hose is removed, it keeps filter bag contents from escaping.

Well constructed, with good quality plastic materials. Closing and opening slide is smooth and tight. No appreciable air leaks when closed, even when connected directly to CTL-26 running at full speed.Six screws allow to disassemble for eventual cleaning.Made in Germany.

Great addition to the boom arm set up
I have two of these coming off of the Festool Y adapter (452898) on my boom arm set up. These work great and integrate into the Festool hoses with no additional fittings needed.

Sturdy plastic, easy to attach, and very good seal. My only complaint is how expensive it is.

Oversized but work ok
Work as they should but a bit bulky, especially if you require two of them placed on Y connector, they are then touching each other at odd angles. But they solid and do the job for Festool vacs.
