Keep in mind they are bamboo and not 100 percent cotton so the texture is very different than terry cloth. They are very smooth and soft but thin. The seem to have some weight to them so they are heavier than cotton of the same thickness. The test for value will be in the absorption. The jury is still out on that so 3 stars for now. I would not have paid $50 for four cotton towels of the same thickness.

I've read many of the reviews, and the negative reviews don't stand up in my opinion. These towels are pretty, soft, thin and highly absorbent.If there's anything that would detract from my opinion of them, this would be it: It's only been 2-3 months that I've been using these towels, but threads have already started to come apart from the towel. Anyway, I still love these towels and just hope they'll last into the future. I give these towels a 4 out of 5 stars.

I haven't even used them yet, and when I pulled them out of their Chinese retail packaging, they had threads hanging off of them. You would think for the price they would be better made, also, as others have mentioned here, they are not as thick as the pictures make them out to be.I'm not sure if I should just return them now or wash them and try using them.

You cannot tumble dry these towels which for me living without a washing machine on Manhattan means they cannot go to my wash and fold service, I would have to hand wash in a sink and hang to dry. They also shed fibers but perhaps that is their newness but the main thing is that they don't dry you well ! They are thin and light and cling to you but don't seem to take much water with them. I ended up getting another different cotton towel to finish the job off. I am sending them back for a refund, only second time ever I have returned anything.

These are very soft and absorbent. They wash well when washed alone. The major problem is that they are really thin and will snag on everything that they come in contact with. You get what you pay for I guess.

Very nice towels, they are beautiful. Not soo thick and needs a dry place to dry out. Other than that we are pleased.

Liked colors disliked the fabric. This may work for a child size body but ti wont dry like a standard towel.

Based on other reviews, I was skeptical about these towels. When they arrived, I almost sent them back. They looked too thin to be of use. But I'm so glad I gave them a try. They arrived on time, and were packaged well. They are super absorbent, and after several washes have held up well with no odor. I love these towels and will buy them again.
