Good Enough
If I could give a 3.5 rating, I would. Owning the more expensive and better sounding Gon Bops El Toro, I took a chance on the Fiesta so I would have a second cajon to tote around for practices, some recording and some live playing. My expectations weren't terribly high because this is more of a beginner/student cajon, and it will be serviceable as far as my needs are concerned. I'll share information here that I think may be helpful to anyone considering this cajon.1. It's not made in Peru; While my El Toro (and I believe my Bongo Cajon) comes from Peru, this comes from China. Being that the Gon Bops website does not describe this as coming from Peru, I did not expect it to. But others might, so I thought I'd mention it here.2. In my opinion, the adjustable bells are not necessary. I took them out because it seems that even when moved away from the front-plate, I could still hear them. Not my cup of tea.3. When hitting the bass area (which isn't very deep), I consistently received reverberation from the 2 inner most snare wires (think 1, 2, 3, 4 with 2 and 3 making the noise). I solved this, to a certain degree, by taping the 2 and 3 wires down to the wood. Not a big deal, but one shouldn't have to do it. The wires can be adjusted, but I'm trying to avoid doing so. If the bass were deeper and wasn't accompanied by so much snare reverberation, I would easily give this item a 4 or even 5 simply due to the value. The Fiesta is a good deal for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money or doesn't know if he/she will seriously take on the cajon. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and I want to keep my cherished El Toro safe from all the bumps and bruises of a cajon toted life.If you think you'll only own only one cajon and you're willing to spend more money for definitive sound, I suggest researching and spending the money on what you want. But, if you want an economical (or extra) cajon from a great brand, then I say go for this one. I will add that this sounds much better than a few cajons I played from other brands which also cost more. I'm happy with Gon Bops and satisfied (enough) with this cajon.

Good Cajon For The Price
I bought this cajon after hearing a friend's identical model. This cajon has a pretty good sound especially for the low price. What I liked about it most of all was it's low end. I have another cajon which is twice the cost but doesn't come close to the bottom end of this Gon Bops Fiesta. My friend plays using a cajon pedal, a snare drum, high hat and one cymbal. It's a tiny but snappy kit.

Great drum for the price.
This is a great drum. Cover/case is cheaply made and zipper broke after second use.

Great Cajon for the Money
Great cajon for the money. If you are just beginning to play this instrument, it's a great entry.

The price was great ($120CDN, I believe)
Bought this cajon for our 12 year old daughter. The price was great ($120CDN, I believe), and it came with a great carry bag and a seat pad (we never use it, though). This has been a fantastic addition to our living room, and whenever family or friends come over, they always sit down and start making music. As for sound quality, we are not experts by any means. My daughter loves it, and it sounds great to us. Definitely recommend.

Cajon box
Cajon box sounds bad was not what I was expecting l. More a toy then a stage cajon unfortunately. Had to return. Had no problem return with no fee.
