Stillmatic Clean Version

In my opinion this is in the top ten of classic albums. The beats, the lyrics and the flow is on point. I'm actually glad they took off the track Brave heart Party, the track is good but doesn't fit the album. Another classic Nas album is the Lost Tapes. Just do yourself a favor and buy all his albums because they are all dope in their own way.

This album was excellent, it might not be his best work but most of the songs on here are good. They all have a different style as Nas took a different approach with each one, such as Rule to Ether, 2nd Childhood to Got Ur Self A... This album is one of my favorites from Nas, even the Stillmatic (Intro) was great; this album was definitely one of 2001's best albums.

Even though he is not in the hood anymore, he has resin that carries over in this album. I don't consider his albums different albums with different albums! I consider his albums to be chapters in a big fat book like the bible or roots by alex haley!

I believe this should have been a 10 track album. The 1st 10 r strong the last 4 r fillers. Was a great time for music n breath of fresh air into Nas career which prior had looked dead

Se con illmatic rappresentava L’hip hop di NY in maniera eccelsa con stillmatic conferma ancora le sue abilità da MC, che lo hanno caratterizzato e contraddistinto per tutta la sua carriera,

Das Cover des Albums kommt schon mal sehr cool, Nas und der Vogel im Vordergrund, im Hintergrund die Skyline von New York, auch das Artworc im Booklet find ich persöhnlich sehr gelungen, sowie die Rückseite, wo wieder Nas im Vordergrund zu sehen ist und im Hintergrund eine New Yorker Straße, es kommt schon bei diesen Punkten ein richtig großes Rap/Hip Hop Feeling auf, was sich beim hören der CD nur bestätigt.Jeder, der ein Fan von erstklassigem Rap ist, wird das Album gut finden, gibt keinen einzigen Song, der schlecht ist. Illmatic oder It was written waren ja bereits ebenfalls Klassiker in der Szene, dieses Album erreicht durchaus ein ähnliches Niveau, Nas versteht es noch immer Technik, Wortwitz, Flow aber auch im Vergleich zu Nastradamus wieder eine gewisse Härte in seinen Songs reinzubringen und das alles zu vereinen, auch die Beats sind absolut erstklassig. Gibt nur wenige Rapper, die das auf solch eine Weise hinbekommen und damit so erfolgreich sein können wie er.Beste Songs für mich:SmokinOne MicYou're da ManThe Flyest (feat. AZ)
