Has anyone used command strips with this and they worked?? I don't really want to screw one in or damage my walls with the adhesive.

The adhesive strips worked effectively for me on a painted wall. Over time, I had overstuffed the container with bags and it caused the back to buckle. Since it was gradual, it slowly pulled the unit off of the adhesive, which stuck securely to the wall. The unit itself was still securely on the wall, but some of the strips were not completely connected to the unit. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as I recently moved, and it made it *very* easy for me to empty the unit, separate it from the adhesive strips, and then pull the strips parallel to the wall (as you would with a 3M command strip) to cleanly remove it from the wall. No mess! I know this does not quite answer the question, but it's a bit of information I wanted to share

How many bags can you put in it?

I use it for the shopping bags you get from the grocery store, etc. and there are more than 20 in it right mow. I use the bags for trash in my kitchen.

Can you fit your whole hand into the opening to reach a lone bag that may be at the bottom?

The hole in the top is for putting bags in. The large hole in the front is for pulling bags out. You should have no trouble pulling a lone bag at the bottom from inside that large hole

Which are the size of grocery bag dispenser?

I am putting the plastic bags that one would get at wal mart or any store that has that type of a bag
