Stormr Typhoon Neoprene Glove Cast

These are great gloves for the purpose I need them for... wet use during ice fishing. Since my biggest concern with the online purchase was getting the right size, I thought I'd offer some help. I ordered the size L - Large. My hand measures 7 3/4 inches from where palm meets wrist to tip of middle finger and these fit very well. I like the very light rubberized, hatched coating on the palm of the glove as it facilitates gripping things.

I've taken these out a few times in 40-50 degree weather. They really helped keep my hands warm in both wet and dry conditions. I was impressed at how well I could cast my spinning rods with these on. They definitely have extended my fishing comfort zone down another ten degrees. The grip is great and the kevlar finger patch works well to keep braided line from eating your gloves. In cold weather I really appreciate the positive grip these gloves have on my boats steering wheel. Great fishing glove!

These gloves have kept my hands dry so far but they do not keep them warm at all. I purchased them for fishing but have been using them for snow shoveling and sledding with my son. I noticed once you get them wet your hands rapidly feel the cold. I will wait to see how they hold up in the surf and on the kayak once the weather turns.

I'm a huge fan of Stormr. I own their jacket and gloves. The gloves are perfect for east coast residents because they're good for surf fishermen PLUS when it snows and you have to clean your car your hands will stay dry & warm. These are made well. I still have my original pair from 2 years ago. I recently lost one and bought a second pair.

Quick review. I purchased these as a kayak fishing glove. The outer material so readily soaks up water that my hands are freezing in minutes. The grip is nice, and the seams appear to be well sealed. While the gloves did not leak, I find that at any temp below 40º F these just will not keep your hands warm once wet. That said, they did keep my hands dry and did not leak the two times I used them.

These gloves are thinner than I had been lead to believe from the listing. I am using them to chain up my big rig on mountain passes in the western states. The fit was also a bit tight or smaller than anticipated. We'll see how the endure the season.

These gloves are not waterproof in the least, used them for east coast surf fishing, first dip in the water to rinse off fish slime, they take on water. They might be water resistant if they get splashed. They are able to cast braided line without getting cut. They are not warm at all, especially when they take on water.

These gloves are warm and fully 100% waterproof. I have give respect where respect is due. I read all these negative 1 star reviews..."my hands were cold in 50 degrees with them on"... stfu and grow a pair. These gloves are sick you wont regret it!
