I was hesitant when I purchased this set; however, I was beyond impressed when the chess pieces arrived. They were beautifully packaged. Each piece is well-made, solid, with smooth edges and a nice weight. Attention to the little details made all the difference. Each felt board protector was perfectly placed on center. The package arrived with two drawstring bags to store the pieces when not in use. It also included a nicely printed instructional manual for those not familiar with the game.

The pieces are beautiful and fit nicely in a 20" regulation chess board. The included storage bags are quite practical too.

It is what it is- cheap and usable chess pieces for my homemade chess board to be mainly used outdoors. The felt on the underside of each piece is a bit creased- but it does not deter from the individual pieces from standing upgright. To make this more durable, I will probably fill it with some kind of medium and make it heavier and buy new felt paper to glue on the underside. it works.

We purchased these chess pieces to use on our front porch. They are perfect. The size is right - similar to our expensive pieces we received as a gift. The only improvement I could suggest is that they include an extra queen, but that’s not a deal breaker. Worth buying.

Here is a picture of the pieces with a homemade board I made with leftover hardwood. The diameter of the king's base is 37 mm and the pawn's base is 27 mm. The pieces are made of durable plastic. There's a hollow cavity on each pieces' underside covered by felt, and I bet a hole will be poked through the felt in the near future... regardless it is not a bad set for the price.

The set is good but the queen is bend it a little bit, I would like if they can send me a new white queen. But in general is a good chees set

I was skeptical because of some reviews. But, these pieces are great! They don’t wobble, they’re a perfect great size.. not professional level but great for everyday playing for us regular folks.

Horrible quality, light and hollow inside (someone saved 2 cents on that), colors of plastic inconsistent among the blacks, seams of plastic are palpable, feels like a dollarama chessmen
