Night and day difference
Placed these on a 1990 Ford Ranger. Ordered on 22 July, shipped on the 28th delivered on Aug 3rd. Not bad for interior Alaska. Packaged well. The old lights had yellowed fluted lenses and rusted reflectors; might as well had two candles. The new lights have flat very clear lenses and the reflectors resemble modern vehicles or something akin to Hella 1000's. The passenger side bolted right in, the alignment pin on the drivers side was a little misshaped for the hole in the fender; no worries as the new frames are plastic I just took my pocket knife and rounded the corners and it went right in. The clips that the screws go in on the new lights are to large for the old screws; just swap them with the old ones and your good. Total install time (using a cordless drill) no more than a half hour. Just be careful removing the parking light and attached trim the clips that hold the bottom in hold well. I used an old 1 inch wood chisel between the finder and the trim to pry them loose after removing the top screw. Only problem now is the rest of the truck needs a cleaning. Never mind I see a couple of mud holes.

They are worth the purchase
I put these in a 1989 ford bronco2 to replace the origanal 30 year old lenses. The fit and finish was pretty good, the only difference is they do stick out just a little bit more than stock. But they look amazing and function just as amazing. Due to the clear lenses they are much much brighter than stock. In my opinion it is worth the money and they look really good and the quality is pretty good to.

new headlights
The lights on my ford ranger were really faded out and old. I tried many different ways to restore them but they didn't really work because the plastic was faded deeper than the surface. So I looked around and found these and I can see much better at night now. They are cheaper on amazon than everywhere else. There are some metal clips on the top of the headlight frame that screws go into to hold the trim on. I had to reuse the old clips because they are better quality and the old screws would not fit into the new clips. That was basically the only problem. One potential issue is they are made in Taiwan (If I remember correctly) and I prefer things made in USA but there is no problem with the quality other than the metal clips for the screws. Keep in mind that you do have to align them (like any other new headlight). I have not yet aligned them properly but they are still brighter than my old lights. I would recommend a headlight protection film kit to keep them from getting faded out and to protect them from rocks and dust/sand at high speed. Overall they are a good product and better than the stock lights. Probably better than the stock lights when they were brand new. Another thing is they make your ranger or explorer look really good (mine looks new except for the paint job lol)update jan. 2016. I have noticed some moisture/condensation in one headlight after it has rained a lot.

better than stock
Not diamond cut or glass or do they even look close to the picture. I like the headlights I got but they were way different than what is advertised here. The lights I got are clear like a rice burner not great for the price.

good replacements for me
I wanted to wait a while (18 months) before I reviewed these. I will now say that have been wonderful replacement headlight assemblies for my 94 Ford Explorer. I have a sensitive rice-o-meter and these are not ricey at all like one of the previous reviewers said, unless you really want the strict-OEM fluted look for a factory-correct restoration. I chose to resto-mod my truck instead. These are simply "clear" lenses and not fluted at all, but it is a look I like AND it is practical -- light projection is much better. I combined this with some Phillips VisionPlus 9004 bulbs and more importantly LMCTruck's relay'ed headlight harness, and it's about as good as you can get with a 9004 bulb.So far after 1.5 years (installed Nov 2015) they have not leaked, no condensation or moisture in them despite my damp gullywasher Southern climate, and they still look great. I hope that continues.

Perfect fit except small screws
The original head lights were faded and fogged. The new lights are much brighter and feel much safer driving at night. They have newer look to them than plain OEM replacements, which are much less expensive than these. Took the opportunity this time to paint the grill to give a fresh look to this old truck.

Huge improvement over stock! HUGER improvement over worn out headlights!
Holy crap! It was between this or replacing my foggy, clouded headlights with stock replacements.World of difference!! And yes it was from old headlights that needed to be replaced, not just repaired with a surface kit from 3M or the like. Between these and OEM's, I feel like the difference would have been the same as replacing mine with OEM. In other words, TWICE AS GOOD! You do need to attempt to adjust these and aim them properly as they will blind people if not set up right. But it basically produces a projector beam pattern out of halogen bulbs!

Perfect for my 1992 Ranger
Excellent lights. A year ago I bought a cheap set and they not only fell apart at the gasket but were nearly impossible to adjust and they took forever to install. These went in in literally minutes, produce an outstanding light and adjusted in seconds. I highly recommend them.
