Undertech vs. 5.11 and ABetterHolster
Personal tastes vary, but I've found holster shirts to be the most comfortable way to carry. Maybe, like me, you have to do this regularly in a covert manner. I will tell you that I've tried two other main variants -- the 5.11 holster T-shirt and the Abetterholster model. Let me tell you why I like this one.The primary reason is the retention strap on the weapon. You can fight with this thing on and your gun isn't going to cough out onto the floor. The 5.11 shirt will retain a gun for the first couple month's of washing, then something wears out with the pockets, velcro, or both. The holster T-shirt from A Better Holster does not retain in a fight at all. But this one will. I *love* that.Things I don't love about this holster shirt? No individual mag-pockets on your weak side (A Better Holster's shirt has these). If, like me, you carry two extra mags when you're wearing this, you have to stuff those two mags side by side in the wider front pocket since the back section has no bottom (made to accomodate a weapon barrel on left or right side). This can sometimes result in one of those mags popping out -- not often, but it happens. If I could have an UnderTech holster shirt made for just right-hand draw with the Better Holster's mag pockets under my right arm, that'd be literally the perfect product. Also, having owned both the white and black variants of this shirt, I'd recommend going with the black. The white variant is very transparent and will clearly display, say, a tactical badge worn underneath it. All holster shirts will print a badge if you're wearing it, but with the white Undertech version you can actually read the damn thing and see the emblem -- not great when you're trying to fly under the radar.Hope this helps. Happy carrying.

Stretchier than Jenna Jameson.
Most devices that fail to conceal a gun upon my person fail only because my person is 5' 3" tall, weighs 130 lbs, and has a 27-28" waist--depending on whether I've eaten or not--which qualifies me to be a rail, or at least rail-like. For example my inside the waist band holster from Alien Gear works quite well as long as I wear an overcoat, but should I attempt to ditch the overcoat and tuck in my shirt over the gun, I gain the appearance of someone wearing a medical device to enable me to live. I would not dock any points from any device that fails to conceal a weapon due primarily to my girth, or lack thereof. The Alien Gear holster, for example, could not possibly hold the gun any tighter to my skeleton, therefore it is by no fault of its design that it fails to conceal. As for this UnderTech product, I am sad to say that it fails to conceal my M&P Shield under my arm, and it fails because it's not the best product it can be. With the smallest available size shirt on the gun sags away from my body, creating the most noticeable protrusion from my rib cage as if I am in dire need of medical attention. Should I move my arm away from my side, say to reach for something, then the protrusion becomes a veritable flag, alarming everyone in the near vicinity that I have something under my shirt, possibly a third extremity. I do not believe this is a fitting issue. The small-sized shirt is tight enough on me to make my breathing labored like a pregnant lady, and to squeeze my veritable pecks together like a man's wonder bra. It's so tight, I nearly died attempting to remove the shirt after observing its failure to conceal my weapon and disappointment. I had my head inside of the material as I desperately clawed at the back to lift it up and over my head. % minutes of futile clawing lead to fatigue, then exhaustion. I crumpled to the floor, certain that this state of affairs would be my life now. The shirt fits, but the design is flawed. Sending back today.

deep cover
I would have given this 5 stars but will have to settle for 4. I bought a medium and it feels pretty snug. I almost got stuck in it. Holds my xds with no problems. I wear large shirts to help conceal, and this undertech conceals very well and very comfortably. My only gripe is the break. In the picture it shows a button for the break strap. That showed me that the break strap should break with an upward motion with a flat hand. Mine came with a hook. There is no fast way to release the strap with the hook. That's seconds of your life that you are sacrificing. I will not use the strap when I wear this. My piece is holstered nice and snug with no sagging. If you purchase on undertech's site, you can get 3 for $100. Definitely a good holster for your conceal wardrobe.

awesome solution to a button down shirt
So far carries the M&P shield 9mm with no issues what ever. you can either snap it in place or let the elastic hold it snug. There was slight sagging by the end of the day, 10-12hrs of wear, but it was very slight and barely noticeable. I checked with people i know to see if they can notice it and the cant.Sizing---i wear an XL shirt, undershirt, sweat shirt etc... i got the LG because i was nervous it would be to baggy and not grip my body tight enough to be snug...I was wrong definietly get the size shirt you wear (not the ones to hide your body). i now need to drop some weight to make this shirt fit a little more comfortably size wise but i still fits.

Even tighter than expected
As per other reviews that I read, I ordered this a size larger than I would normally wear. It was very snug and warm. I realize this is made for a man, so one size larger may be big enough, but I didn't care for the women's version so that is why I ordered this one instead. As a woman, if you want a crew neck version, I would suggest ordering 2 sizes larger and then realize this only really works in the winter because it is too warm to wear in the summer when you want as few clothes on as possible. Also, the pockets are not easy to get to for a woman, but my husband found he could wear two sub-compacts (like the M&P shield) with little problem. They are an okay shirt, but not as comfortable for women as I had hoped.

Great product.
Works great, ran in a charity 5K and once I was accustomed to the slight bounce you get from the elastic you don't even feel it. The only negative I have is the spare mag holder. Since there isn't a retention strap for the spare mag it popped out on me.No one had any idea I was carrying unless I told them, and we are trained to look for it.
