Great quality, long lasting, dependable solution, easy to get filters for.
Well, I finally had to replace my original Culligan unit with this one. Why, well nothing lasts forever, but 15 years of service and changing filters and hard water buildup from my well, it was time, mainly because of the clear plastic becoming so stained it was hard to see the filter, mind you, 15 years of full-time service. We live in the country and I use this as a pre-filter from my well to the house. Note: Install in line, after the pressure tank (on booster pump installs, you can be more flexible) not before, or simply not between the pressure tank and the wellhead. You can buy bulk filters on the internet for this size, and in any combination you want, I use this for sediment and then have a triple version under my sink for charcoal filtering and microfilter, which when tested in this manner, I was surprised that we beat a bottled water sample test comparison I sent in.

Good but wants to leak
The filter works as it should and at a good price. However, the inlet and outlets want to leak when you install the threaded adaptors if you follow the enclosed installation instructions. If you want to seal them the first time, wrap about 6" of tape around the threads AND make sure to put pipe dope on the tape / threads, otherwise it'll leak!!! I used Sharkbite threaded adaptors and after them leaking and taking them apart a couple times I added the pipe dope for no leaks. Also be careful not to cross thread the housings as it very easy to do!

Clean running water
I’m in love. It was very easy to set up and now I have health water running in my house. Now I hope my hair can grow from the clean water.

No mounting bracket
DOES NOT come with mounting bracket! Seams like something that comes with a wrench would also include a way to secure it. If you need a wrench then you’ll need a way to keep it from moving. $11 more spent or make one 🙄

This filter does not come with a mounting bracket unfortunately so will have to do some fabrication. Other than that it seems like a decent whole house water filtration unit. I like the clear bottom so you can see the filter 👍🏻

Awesome!!!
Received within a couple days. Really like the clear casing, can tell if the filter needs changing with just a look. Also the valve on top is great, eliminating the use of isolation valves before and after the filter. I put two housings in line, one with 20 micron and one with 5, we are on artesian well and got fair amount of sediment. These work great!!!

Tiene filtro incluido y llave de paso incluida para fácil remplazo del filtro.
Bueno la verdad yo le di otro uso muy diferente al de filtrar agua, pero su diseño, material que es transparente ayuda bastante para saber cómo está filtrando, y de qué calidad llega el agua al domicilio.
