Lives for powder, but can ski anything...just like CR. The story of Charles Russel Johnson reminds the world why we ski: because it's damn good fun. The 4FRNT CRJ Ski helps confirm that notion by providing one of the most playful powder platforms known to skidom. For those of us who never knew CR, we are left with his legacy of video segments, photos, and this ski, which he designed on a napkin. At the time, the combination of traditional camber underfoot, tip and tail rocker, and a tapered tip and tail seemed silly. Only when 4FRNT built and tested this ski did it realize how ahead of the times he truly was and what he left the world: a poppy, go-anywhere powder ski that's as happy in powder as CR was. These skis are identical in design to the current 2014 CRJ (graphic only has changed).
