Presents a whole different approach to Management
I'm a believer in Christ. I study God's word daily. This book showed me how Christ's life while here on Earth, is an example of how to effectively manage. Everything from resources to people. It is a REALLY good book. I like the way that it is written. I can't call them chapters, but more like sections. Each section such as "Relationships" have short sub-sections that are examples of that section heading. It's not overwhelming to read. You can actually read a sub-section a day and absorb it and hopefully use these concepts. I was recommended this book by a friend at work. She worked for the Sheriff's Dept. and said this book spread like wildfire throughout the organization. I can see why.Note: It takes a lot of strength to be a leader and it is a challenge to use these concepts and apply them not only at work, but in the home. After all this book is nothing new. These are concepts that are already in the Bible. This just relates it within the workplace.

In A Class By Itself!
I read LBJ's first edition of this book when it was initially introduced -- I really don't know where to start. This book is in a class by itself. When the book was introduced, I was working in corporate America--the everyday rat race and moving fast. I was also an ordained Church Minister. Once I saw and read some of the content, I immediately began purchasing copies for ministerial and corporate colleagues. Laurie Beth's insight, her articulation of this insight and the relevance of the material is awe inspiring. Additionally, laying it out as sort of "vitamins for the day" was brilliant. I gave back-pack copies to my children to keep with them during their college days. More than 10-years later, I still read this book once or twice yearly; I use it in leadership and ministerial training; and now I will be using it as one of our texts in Young Mens Mentoring venue and with a youth group. I recently ordered a copy for a friend who is rebounding from some devastating blows in life. ...as one individual stated in a movie many years ago, "I tell you it's that good." Stay positive and focused.

Amazing delivery - but disagree with that the book says.
The shipping and the condition of the book is GREAT. It got to me right on time and in great condition. The content of the book itself - I, personally, don't agree with many things that it says, but I am reading it to get a full understanding of the book. The reason why I bought this book is because I wanted to get a better perspective of how Jesus would have handled himself in the corporate world. It kind of talks about some stuff of it - but the author mainly uses her perception and opinion of things to explain certain stuff instead of realy using and quoting the bible. (At least, this is what I have seen so far.)If you believe in Jesus, and are looking to read this book to make yourself a better Christian professional in the business world, I do not recommend it. Since the authors uses her opinion as facts, and I don't really agreed with many things. (But this is my perception)If you are just looking for a book to read and don't mind reading a different perception , you might have found a good fit. Altough if you are only looking to read a book, there are far better books to read than this one.Again, the book was ship and delivered right on time. Kudos, and no complains. The inside of the book, I would not talk that great about it .Take care of the ideas you bring into your mind.

Jesus: CEO: Using Ancient Wisdom for Visionary Leadership
One of the best leadership books I have ever read. At the same time it is a great devotional for the common person not in a leadership position. While the focus is on leadership in particular, the wisdom and guidance afforded is such that anyone will benefit from reading this little book. I can't keep it in my library because I give it away almost as soon as I get a new copyEach chapter is one leadership topic, and no more than two pages long. Easily read, digested, and put into action--whether one is a Christian, Jew, Moslem, Athiest, or Agnostic. For the Christian this book may also be used as a daily devotional as it can be read one chapter a day for meditation on the actions and multiple meanings of the Life of Christ.Whether interested in improving your style of leadership, looking for suggestions to use in daily life, or read as a devotional, this book is well worth choosing for each and all of these purposes.

A brilliant book that every leader MUST read.
This book is a easy but powerful read. Each chapter is short and to the point, but causes you to reflect and develop yourself as a leader. It's definitely one to keep on file that you can keep going back to.

AMAZING
Service great. Information inside book amazing. Physical condition of book is horrible. It is ridden with ballpoint underlinings! If this was stated as a caveat I don't recall seeing it! I'll give to charity. Underlinings or not, JESUS, CEO gives us what I call the truth about Jesus' teachings. I'LL JUST PURCHASE MORE NEW COPIES. MANY MORE.

Imagine me pleasantly surprised when I read the book and enjoyed the read
I was assigned this book to read as an assignment for a leadership fellowship. Now I'm not a person who is big on religion, so I was not looking forward to reading this book. Imagine me pleasantly surprised when I read the book and enjoyed the read. The book doesn't beat you over the head with religious dogma. It simply looks at how you can be a better leader by looking at how Jesus Christ was as a leader. It's more of a development devotional. Easy to read and understand. I'm a college professor and I am now giving copies of the book to some of my students who I think will benefit from the lessons.

Glad I Found This Copy.
This was a replacement for a book that I "lost." Glad I ordered it. Seems to be physically smaller than my first copy. Otherwise, meets all expectations. I rely on the guiding principles in the book as a compass to follow in my work as a volunteer in the public sector,

Best book by far
It's a book that requires you to think about your own qualities whilst it shows and teaches you how our master Jesus taught us how to lead. The best book I have ever read so far,and the beauty of it all is that you can refer to the relevant scriptures at the back.Wonderful,it does it for me.Perfect, just perfect!!!

GARBAGE: PUERILE and DISAPPOINTING . . . Don't waste your money
Not just pedestrian. Not just puerile. Just juvenile interpretations and mimimal text designed to make money for the author instead of giving honour and devotion to the wonderful man who is our last chance. Don't add your hard-earned money to this profit-making enterprise. Just read the New Testament every day and find the Lord speaking directly to you.
